This is how we celebrated Emancipation Day. ✨

With a vibrant parade through the streets of our island, schools, local authorities, institutions, and the entire community came together to honor the freedom, resilience, and legacy of our ancestors.

Dressed in traditional attire that reflected the spirit of that historic era, we proudly remembered their courage, celebrated their sacrifices, and embraced the values of unity and freedom they passed on to us.

As the sun set, the celebration continued with the Freedom Concert, where music, traditional dances, local gastronomy, and the joyful spirit of our people brought everyone together for an unforgettable evening.

This week, we celebrate our history. We celebrate our culture. We celebrate the strength of our people.

The coronation night was magical for the Archipelago community. The music, the gastronomy, and the attire that represent our ancestors shone brightly.

Last night, we met our queen: Miss San Luis was crowned Miss Emancipation, representing an entire culture.
