Beyond every committee session, BISMUN became a space for developing critical thinking, strengthening key competencies and inspiring enthusiastic future leaders ready to make a positive impact.

In a world filled with screens and constant notifications, our IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts students took a step back and returned to the essentials: books. 📚✨

Away from electronic devices, they explored pages rich with artistic techniques, movements, history and inspiring artists to spark new ideas and deepen their creative process.

Because sometimes the most meaningful connections happen when we disconnect. 💡🎨

Returning to books means returning to observation, imagination and intentional creation.

Today we celebrate those who inspire, guide and make a difference every single day. 💙

Our students proudly represented BIS at the Copa San José, participating in football, softball, volleyball and basketball across different categories. Beyond the results, this experience highlights the importance of sport as a fundamental pillar of holistic education at BIS. We are especially proud of our High School boys’ football team, who achieved second place in their category. Sport at BIS builds discipline, teamwork and character, both on and off the field.

En el BIS, nuestros estudiantes participaron con orgullo en la Copa San José, compitiendo en fútbol, softball, voleibol y baloncesto en diferentes categorías. Más allá de los resultados, esta experiencia reafirma la importancia del deporte como parte esencial de una formación integral. Destacamos con orgullo al equipo masculino de fútbol de High School, que obtuvo el segundo lugar en su categoría. En el BIS, el deporte forma valores que trascienden la cancha.

Our 41 banyan trees are at the heart of the BIS EcoCampus. They offer shade, freshness and a natural roof that makes this campus truly unique. Here, children learn, play and grow surrounded by nature, interacting with the environment in a way that cannot be found anywhere else. This living landscape is part of who we are and what makes the BIS experience so special.

Nuestros 41 árboles de caucho son parte fundamental del EcoCampus del BIS. Nos regalan sombra, frescura y ese techo natural que hace de este campus un lugar verdaderamente único. Aquí, los niños aprenden, juegan y crecen en contacto permanente con la naturaleza, viviendo una experiencia que no se encuentra en ningún otro lugar. Read and Fun, a reading marathon in Early Years where imagination took centre stage.
Our students came to school in their pyjamas, bringing their favourite books from home to enjoy a vibrant and joyful reading experience.

They read in their classrooms, explored the playgrounds and shared stories with friends, bringing tales to life as they imagined new adventures together. At BIS, we nurture a love for reading from the earliest years, as a foundation for learning and development.

Nuestros estudiantes llegaron al colegio en pijama y con sus libros favoritos de casa para vivir una experiencia vibrante y llena de historias.

The Senior Walk of the Retro Seniors 2026 is a moment to look back and acknowledge everything built during their time at BIS.
Here, they learned, made mistakes, grew, and began to shape the people they are becoming.

As they move forward into a new chapter, they do so with the skills, confidence and values needed to face what lies ahead. Keep moving with purpose, curiosity and commitment, while remembering the path that helped shape you.

El Senior Walk de los Retro Seniors 2026 es una pausa para mirar atrás y reconocer todo lo que han construido en su paso por el BIS.
Aquí aprendieron, se equivocaron, crecieron y descubrieron quiénes son y hacia dónde quieren ir.

Hoy comienzan una nueva etapa con las herramientas, la confianza y los valores necesarios para enfrentar los retos que vendrán. Sigan avanzando con curiosidad, compromiso y convicción, sin perder de vista el camino que los formó.

El BIS siempre será parte de su historia y un lugar al que podrán volver.

As part of BIS Knowledge Week, we enjoyed a truly special activity: Mystery Reader 📚

Parents joined the classroom in disguise, surprising their children by reading stories as different characters. A moment filled with family, creativity and emotion, where learning became playful and meaningful.

Because a good story is always a perfect excuse to learn, connect and create lasting memories.

En el marco de la Semana del Conocimiento, vivimos una actividad muy especial: Mystery Reader 📚✨

Padres de familia llegaron al salón de incógnito, disfrazados de distintos personajes, para sorprender a sus hijos con la lectura de una historia. Un momento lleno de familia, creatividad, emoción y aprendizaje, donde leer se convirtió en una experiencia divertida y significativa.

Porque una buena historia siempre es una gran excusa para aprender, compartir y crear recuerdos que perduran.
