"Subject Pronouns and Object Pronouns".
Hello children, good evening, today we are going to learn subject pronouns and object pronouns in English together.
attention, the personal pronouns depending on the subject are generally placed at the beginning of the sentence, and they are the "actors", those who perform the action of the verb. In general, they will not be translated into Spanish, for the reasons that were found in this entry: in our language we already have the verbal ending, to indicate who performs the action, so using the pronoun in Spanish is necessary in most cases. the times.
We observe the following image to pronounce and know its writing.
xamples:
• We speak English (we speak English).
• She watches TV (she watches TV – here we do translate the pronoun because the third person can be both feminine and masculine).
• I believe in miracles (I believe in miracles)
On the other hand, the personal object pronouns can function as a direct or indirect complement, and the action of the verb falls on them. When in the same sentence, two personal object pronouns coincide, one as a direct object and the other as an indirect object, the first is placed after the verb, the indirect is second, normally accompanied by the prepositions to or for.
Curiously, in a normal sentence in which two objects coincide, these are not pronouns (or only one is), the most common order is the reverse (first the indirect and then the direct, without the need for the preposition).
Examples:
Pikachu, I choose you (Pikachu, I choose you)
Leave it all to me (Leave it all to me / I take care of everything. Here we have an example of a sentence with two objects, the direct it and the indirect me, preceded by the preposition to. The first translation is the most literal, the Second, the one that convinces me the most. We'll talk about translations later...)
I don't believe in UFOs, because I have never seen them.
