Tadian District 2 Conducts Christmas Program, Oath Taking and Send Off Ceremony (for Tadian 2 DepEd Retirees) on December 17, 2022 (Saturday) at Pandayan, Tadian, Mountain Province.
The program starts with the procession of the honorees/retirees and program preliminaries. The Tadian District 2 PSDS, Dr. Elmer P. Iguid delivers his welcome remarks and praises the program coordinators, Ms. Catherine G. Domede and Ms. Orilda C. Lagawed, as he welcome all participants. Dacudac NHS Personnel renders a song "Forever Young" for the retirees/honorees. Ms. Catherine G. Domede, Principal of Pandayan ES elaborates how did the SunTEA (Sunnyside Teachers & Employees Association) came to be, of which one of the dreams of the retirees to organize when they were in active service.
Hon. Constito S. Masweng, Municipal Mayor of Tadian inducts the SunTEA Officers and the Tadian 2 District Federated PTA Officers. In the message of the Inducting Officer, expounds the program theme "Leadership is the Capacity to Translate Vision into Reality", .... "to me, this is the ultimate measure of being a true leader... having the ability to transform your goals into actuality. Always remember... good leadership is not the amount of exposure you have... or the number of meetings you attended. Instead, IT IS MEASURED BY THE RESULTS YOU PRODUCED".
"As officers of the Federated PTA and Teachers & Employees Association, you become leaders to your own peers, .., as well as leaders to the sectors that you serve. The common denominator is that both PTA and SunTEA serve and work for the benefit of the learners. That is why it is my fervent hope and prayer ....that as officers of these associations ... you will all strive TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE to the Learners. First by having a vision and clear-cut goals... and then by doing everything in your power to make them possible." ... "In relation to making a difference for our learners, one characteristic of being a good leader is being able to adapt to the challenges of the ever-changing times. ... to be able to adjust and accept INNOVATIONS & NEW STRATEGIES. Let us all learn to combine and jive yesterday's methods with today's methods. If we do that ... I think we will be able to produce what's best to our children. As per JOHN DEWEY ... If we teach today as we taught yesterday ... we rob our children of tomorrow", the very fruitful message of Mayor Masweng. He then congratulates the honorees for a job well done in the government service.
"SunTEA is organized for the purpose of unity of Tadian District 2 Teachers and Employees and as a venue to discuss for the betterment and welfare of its members", stated by Mr. David I. Caoili, Jr, SunTEA President. He then appreciates the presence of each members for sacrificing their time in being not with their families in this weekend activity.
School presentations ensues including other parts of the program. Distribution of gifts through draw lots concludes the Tadian District 2 Christmas Program, Oath Taking and Send Off Ceremony.
