I am asking for your support. This is a pivotal moment in my career, and I’ve done something huge.
Ever since the SCOTUS Montgomery decision, the transportation industry has been stressed, uncertain, and asking the same question: “How do we select a motor carrier in a reasonable and defensible manner?”
I have poured my heart and soul into answering that question.
Next Wednesday, I will release the CAVRA Standard — Carrier Assessment, Verification, Risk, and Accountability It is a practical framework for reasonable motor carrier selection, built from 13 years of transportation law, litigation, in-house experience, expert witness work, carrier vetting, industry education, and real-world conversations with brokers, shippers, carriers, insurers, and attorneys.
It is 54 pages.
And I am giving it away for free.
Because good transportation providers should not be in the dark about one of the most important decisions they make. This is not coming from a large company, trade association, plaintiff group, defense group, broker group, or carrier group.
It is coming from me — independently — because I believe the industry needs transparency, consistency, and practical guidance.
My hope is that the CAVRA Standard brings people together as a community and gives good companies a clearer path forward. A standard we can talk about, improve, and use.
