Meet Jaime Baena, alum from the Class of 2005.

“After CNG, I studied Business Administration at CESA and completed my bachelor’s degree at NEOMA Business School in France, where I also earned a master’s degree in Strategy and Finance.

My journey has reflected CNG’s mission of educating the mind, body, and spirit. Learning French as a third language at CNG—and taking a few unforgettable trips to Europe—sparked a passion that eventually led me to live in France for more than five years.

My first professional opportunity was with Soletanche Bachy, a world-class infrastructure company specializing in major projects such as highways, airports, and ports. As part of its business development team, I helped identify new opportunities while working at the fascinating intersection of finance and project management.

I was later selected for Groupe Casino’s Young Talents Program, an accelerated and tailor-made introduction to management across several areas of the business. At the time, the French retail group controlled many leading Latin American retailers, including Grupo Éxito in Colombia.

I eventually became a Senior Associate at Casino Développement et Immobilier, the group’s real estate division. There, I helped incubate, structure, build, and operate large-scale mixed-use developments, regional shopping centers, and big-box formats—including Casino Drive, an innovative “click-and-mortar” concept that transformed the French retail industry.

This professional journey also allowed me to travel extensively throughout France, Europe, and the world. Eventually, I decided it was time to bring everything I had learned back home.

After returning to Colombia, I worked with some of the country’s most prominent real estate developers. Today, I work with Arquitectura & Concreto, Renta Urbana, and Contexto Urbano—three leading Colombian real estate and architecture companies currently developing some of the country’s most innovative projects.

On a personal note, I am married to my wife, María Camila, and we are joyfully awaiting the arrival of Inés, our first daughter!”

Today, Colegio Nueva Granada officially joined the Amigos del Campus 2600 community, opening new possibilities for our students to engage with research, innovation, science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

This is Marina Granziera, alumna from Class of 2006!

“After graduating from CNG, I pursued a degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology at University of Miami. Shortly before graduation, I began working with Telemundo’s sports department, where I gained invaluable experience in the fast-paced world of live broadcasting and television production.

In 2012, family circumstances brought me back to Colombia. I joined Caracol Televisión, and since then, I have had the privilege of producing content and anchoring sports segments for both television and radio. It has been an extraordinary journey—one that has taken me around the world to cover some of the biggest events in sports, including World Cups, Copa Américas, Olympic Games, and many more.

I remain deeply grateful to CNG. The School not only gave me a strong academic foundation, but it was also where my teachers first recognized and encouraged my ability to communicate, present, and connect with an audience—skills that have become central to my career. CNG also helped shape who I am beyond the classroom, giving me the confidence, social skills, and sense of community that continue to guide me every day.

Today, my CNG story has come full circle: I am now also a proud CNG mom. It is incredibly special to experience the School from this new perspective and to once again be an active part of a community that has meant so much to me throughout my life.”

We are especially proud to see Marina thriving in the world of sports broadcasting and using her talent, knowledge, and voice to inspire other women and girls to pursue their passions with confidence. What an incredible example for all!

35 years of stories, friendships, and memories. 💙💛

Last Friday, we had the joy of welcoming the Class of 1991 back to CNG to celebrate their 35-Year Reunion.

It was a day filled with reconnection, laughter, and nostalgia as classmates returned to Campus, walked through familiar hallways, revisited special places, and remembered the moments that shaped their years at CNG.

Some friendships picked up right where they left off. Some stories came rushing back. And for a little while, the years in between didn’t seem quite so long.

What a privilege to celebrate this milestone together and to see the Class of 1991 back where so many of those memories began.

Welcome back, Class of 1991 — 35 years later, CNG still feels like home. 💙💛
