Our annual Staff Recognition Ceremony is always a special moment to pause, come together, and celebrate the faculty and staff whose dedication helps shape the CNG experience every day. 💙

As we closed Dr. Volpe’s first year as CNG Director, this year’s gathering offered a meaningful opportunity to reflect on a year of learning, growth, and community, and to recognize the extraordinary work of our faculty and staff.

We celebrated colleagues reaching important service milestones, honored exceptional contributions, and said heartfelt goodbyes to those moving on to new journeys. This year’s ceremony also included a special Building and Community Award recognition, celebrating those whose contributions help strengthen both our campus and the sense of belonging that makes CNG so special.

Each recognition reminded us that CNG’s strength comes from the dedication, care, and purpose our team brings to campus every day.

Thank you to our entire staff for making this school year so meaningful, and to the CNG Community Choir for filling the celebration with joy and music. 🎶👏

The Inclusion teams from Primary and Elementary Schools carried out a Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit throughout the school year in different phases. It included planting at the CNG greenhouse, harvesting, and selling the products at CNG Market Day. 🌱

To conclude the project, this enterprising and service-oriented group of students visited Fundación Hogar Nueva Granada to make a donation using the profits earned from the PBL and to put their skills into action as change agents and community builders. 🤝💙

CNG 7th graders from the Colombian Social Studies Program and FHNG 8th graders enthusiastically led a mock referendum centered on a key question for Bogotá’s future:

Should we use groundwater to address the city’s water shortage? 💧

This experience was part of the final project for the unit “Active Citizenship: Dialogues that Transform Communities,” in which students thoroughly researched the issue and presented their findings at a participatory assembly attended by families and all Middle School students.

More than just an academic activity, it was a space to experience democracy, reflect on the importance of participatory mechanisms, and recognize the power of a citizen’s voice in decisions that affect us all.

👏 Congratulations to our students and the students from FHNG for presenting their ideas with commitment, creativity, and critical thinking. This is how citizenship is built in school!

CNG's High School Spanish students from grades 9–11 proudly presented their PBL (Project-Based Learning) projects, exploring meaningful and relevant topics such as media, the environment, inclusion, and equity. Through their work, they demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, and a strong commitment to understanding the world around them.💡

We celebrate their voices and the important conversations they are helping to shape within our community. 💙

🎓 Senior Farewell | Class of 2026 💙

Before graduation, we gathered for one more special moment together — to celebrate our seniors, honor their journey, and look back on how far they have come.

For some, CNG has been home since K4. For others, it became home along the way, but for sure each member of the Class of 2026 has left a special mark on our community!

Class of 2026, thank you for reminding us what it means to grow, to dream, to belong, and to make CNG proud. As you step into the world, may you carry with you the friendships, lessons, and memories that will always connect you to this place.

No matter where life takes you, CNG will always be your second home. 💙
