El pasado 14 de mayo, nuestros estudiantes de grado quinto participaron en la tercera edición del E5 Challenge: Energy Race, organizado por el Colegio CIEDI, en la categoría Pushcarts. ⚡🏎️

Con creatividad, trabajo en equipo y mucho ingenio, nuestro equipo “Sandia Racers” diseñó y piloteó su propio vehículo de propulsión humana, poniendo a prueba todas sus habilidades STEM en una jornada llena de emoción, aprendizaje y diversión. 🍉✨

Más que una competencia, fue una experiencia que impulsó la innovación, la confianza y el espíritu colaborativo de nuestros estudiantes, dejando en alto el nombre de nuestra institución. 💚🏁

On May 14, our fifth-grade students participated in the third edition of the E5 Challenge: Energy Race, hosted by Colegio CIEDI, in the Pushcarts category. ⚡🏎️

With creativity, teamwork, and plenty of ingenuity, our team, “Sandia Racers,” designed and raced their own human-powered vehicle, putting their STEM skills to the test during an exciting day full of learning and fun. 🍉✨

More than just a competition, this experience inspired innovation, confidence, and collaboration, while proudly representing our institution every step of the way. 💚🏁

En Visual Arts, nuestros estudiantes de 2° descubrieron que la naturaleza no solo se observa, también inspira 💚
Como parte de la unidad Sharing the Planet, exploraron su creatividad a través de nature journals, stickers, medals y otras creaciones que nacen desde la conexión con el entorno 🌱

Cada actividad fue una oportunidad para crear desde el respeto, entendiendo que la naturaleza nos inspira, pero también necesita ser protegida 🌍

Como cierre, compartieron sus obras en una muestra llena de color, donde brillaron su creatividad, liderazgo y voz propia ✨

Create, explore, and care 🎨🌿

In Visual Arts, our Grade 2 students discovered that nature is not only observed, it inspires 💚
As part of the Sharing the Planet unit, they explored their creativity through nature journals, stickers, medals, and other creations born from their connection with the environment 🌱

Each activity became an opportunity to create with respect, understanding that nature inspires us but also needs to be protected 🌍

As a closing, they showcased their work in a vibrant exhibition, where their creativity, leadership, and student voice truly shone ✨

En el marco de nuestro Parents Day, los estudiantes de 1°, 2° y 3° fueron los grandes protagonistas del lanzamiento de su proyecto “Autores de su propio libro” 📖💫

Una experiencia interdisciplinar donde cada niño dio vida a sus ideas, imaginación y amor por la escritura, explorando su lado más creativo al escribir, ilustrar y finalmente ver reflejada su historia en la entrega de su propio libro impreso. ✍️🎨

Este proyecto no solo fortaleció habilidades académicas, sino también la confianza, la expresión y la emoción de descubrir que sus palabras pueden convertirse en historias únicas. 📚

Las familias acompañaron este momento tan especial y llenaron el espacio de orgullo, admiración y emoción al ver el increíble proceso de estos pequeños autores.

As part of our Parents Day celebration, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students became the stars of the launch of their project, “Authors of Their Own Book” 📖💫

An interdisciplinary experience where each child brought their ideas, imagination, and love for writing to life, exploring their most creative side by writing, illustrating, and finally seeing their own story transformed into a printed book ✍️🎨

This project not only strengthened academic skills, but also encouraged confidence, self-expression, and the excitement of discovering that their words can become unique stories 📚

Families joined this very special moment, filling the space with pride, admiration, and emotion as they witnessed the incredible journey of these young authors.

Tres palabras que marcaron la experiencia de 8° durante su salida académica al Bootcamp de Emprendimiento en la Universidad de La Sabana 🎓✨

A lo largo de la jornada, nuestros estudiantes fortalecieron habilidades esenciales para el liderazgo y el emprendimiento, participando en experiencias que los llevaron desde la fase de investigación hasta la creación y presentación de un pitch 🔍🎤.

Además, tuvieron la oportunidad de vivir un taller interactivo en los laboratorios de la Universidad 🧪💻, explorando nuevas ideas, trabajando en equipo y potenciando su creatividad.

Esta experiencia hace parte de las actividades impulsadas desde el enfoque de emprendimiento que promueve el Colegio Buckingham, formando estudiantes capaces de innovar, crear y transformar 🌍.

TIE: Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship 🚀💡

Three words that defined the experience of our eighth grade students during their academic visit to the Bootcamp at Universidad de La Sabana 🎓✨

Throughout the day, students strengthened essential leadership and entrepreneurial skills by participating in activities that guided them from the research phase all the way to creating and presenting a pitch 🔍🎤.

They also had the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop inside the University’s incredible laboratories 🧪💻, where they explored new ideas, collaborated as a team, and boosted their creativity.

This experience is part of the entrepreneurial approach promoted by Buckingham School, empowering students to innovate, create, and make a positive impact on the world 🌍

Detrás de cada sonrisa en la cancha hay una lección para la vida 🏀💫

Los festivales preinfantiles son escenarios donde los niños aprenden que el deporte también significa respeto, compañerismo y unión. 🤝🌍

Aquí celebran juntos, se levantan después de cada error y descubren que ser equipo es apoyarse en cada momento.

Más allá de los puntos o los resultados, estos encuentros fortalecen amistades, crean identidad y enseñan el verdadero valor del juego limpio. 🙌

Behind every smile on the court, there’s a life lesson 🏀✨

Pre-youth festivals are much more than just games; they are spaces where children learn that sports also mean respect, teamwork, friendship, and unity 🤝🌍

Here, they celebrate together, rise after every mistake, and discover that being part of a team means supporting one another every step of the way

Beyond the points or the final score, these experiences build friendships, strengthen identity, and teach the true meaning of fair play. 🙌

Because basketball at this stage doesn’t just shape players, it shapes great human beings.

El 5 de mayo nuestros estudiantes de Kinder vivieron una experiencia que deja huella, como delegación en el colegio San Viator, entregaron las donaciones de útiles escolares recolectadas por nuestra comunidad, destinadas a una fundación en La Guajira ✨

En el marco del Día Mundial contra el Acoso Escolar, participaron en un espacio de sensibilización donde la empatía, el respeto y la reflexión fueron protagonistas 🤝

Más que una jornada, fue una oportunidad para mirar más allá de su propio mundo, conectar con otras realidades y comprender el valor de construir entornos más amables, inclusivos y solidarios 🌱

Beyond My World 💚🌍

On May 5th our Kinder students took part in a meaningful experience: as a delegation at San Viator School, they delivered school supply donations collected by our community, destined for a foundation in La Guajira ✨

As part of World Anti-Bullying Day, they engaged in a special awareness activity where empathy, respect, and reflection took centre stage 🤝

More than just a day, it was an opportunity to look beyond their own world, connect with different realities, and understand the importance of building kinder, more inclusive, and supportive environments 🌱

Nos llena de orgullo compartir que nuestras estudiantes María José y Sara de 7°, representaron a Colombia en The Dance Worlds 2026 en Estados Unidos, como parte del equipo Fusion Arts Center.

Este es uno de los campeonatos de danza más importantes a nivel mundial, donde solo llegan los mejores equipos tras un exigente proceso de clasificación internacional 💫

Con enorme alegría celebramos que alcanzaron la final y obtuvieron el 5° lugar en Nations, un logro extraordinario que las posiciona entre las mejores del mundo 🏆✨

We are incredibly proud to share that our students María José and Sara, from Grade 7, represented Colombia at The Dance Worlds 2026 in the United States as part of the Fusion Arts Center team 🇨🇴

This is one of the most prestigious dance competitions in the world, where only top teams qualify through a highly competitive international process 💫

We are thrilled to celebrate that they reached the finals and achieved 5th place in Nations, an outstanding accomplishment that places them among the best in the world 🏆✨

Through this activity, they strengthen their understanding of ecosystem balance, the importance of caring for our environment, and the impact of issues such as deforestation 🌱✨

La Guajira: aprender viviendo 🌵✨

Nuestros estudiantes de 9° vivieron una experiencia que va mucho más allá del aula: un viaje donde la cultura, la naturaleza y el encuentro con el otro se convierten en verdaderos maestros 🌍

Entre risas, canciones y palabras en wayuunaiki, compartieron con la comunidad wayuu momentos que les permitieron aprender desde la conexión, el respeto y la curiosidad.

Se sumergieron en sus tradiciones, escucharon historias al calor de la fogata y descubrieron el valor de una cultura que se transmite de generación en generación 🔥

Desde las salinas de Manaure hasta los atardeceres en Cabo de la Vela, pasando por el desierto guajiro y la riqueza natural de Taironaca y Camarones, cada paso fue una oportunidad para asombrarse, reflexionar y crecer 🌅🦩

Más que un viaje, fue una experiencia que transforma miradas y deja huella. Porque aprender también es sentir, conectar y comprender la diversidad 🌱

Our Grade 9 students experienced something far beyond the classroom: a journey where culture, nature, and meaningful human connection became their greatest teachers 🌍

Through laughter, songs, and words in Wayuunaiki, they shared special moments with the Wayuu community, learning through connection, respect, and curiosity.

They immersed themselves in traditions, listened to stories around the warmth of a bonfire, and discovered the value of a culture passed down from generation to generation 🔥

From the salt flats of Manaure to the sunsets at Cabo de la Vela, crossing the Guajira desert and exploring the natural richness of Taironaca and Camarones, every step was an opportunity to feel inspired, reflect, and grow 🌅🦩

More than a trip, it was a transformative experience that shifts perspectives and leaves a lasting mark. Because learning is also about feeling, connecting, and understanding diversity 🌱
