The Novena of Aguinaldos is a catholic and latin tradition in Colombia and some parts of Venezuela and Ecuador. It is held from december 16 to december 24. During each night, families and friends meet together in front of the christmas tree or the nativity to pray and sing villancicos. At the same time, people eat traditional colombian christmas food such as buñuelos, natilla, arroz con leche, empanadas, hot chocolate and more.

La Novena de Aguinaldos es una tradición latina y católica que se realiza en Colombia, y algunas partes de Venezuela y Ecuador. Esta se celebra desde diciembre 16 hasta diciembre 24. Durante cada noche, familias y amigos se reunen en frente de un árbol de navidad o del pesebre para rezar y cantar villancicos. De igual forma, se reparte comida típica navideña colombiana como los buñuelos, natilla, arroz con leche, empanadas, chocolate caliente y demás.

Proud of our academic processes and advancements of our students, this book is created from the experience of one of our students who is learning Spanish with our program https://www.funifelt.com/spanish-4-foreigners and who produced a complete presentation in Spanish in front of more than 100 university students from many regions of Colombia. Here, you will read opinions and conclusions from this meeting. “It’s admirable that he could handle so much adrenaline, I would say, having, through virtual communication, many people together making many questions. Thank you, it was a marvelous experience” (Diana Constanza Sandoval Rincón, 2021).
