This is a great phrasal verb with two common meanings!

Meaning 1: To recover from an illness or sadness (recuperarse de una enfermedad o tristeza). 🤒➡️❤️‍🩹
Examples:

It took me a week to get over the flu. 🤧

He is sad, but he will get over the bad news soon. 🙏

She finally got over the breakup. 💪

Meaning 2: To overcome a problem or a fear (superar un problema o un miedo). 🧗‍♀️➡️🏆
Examples:

Many people want to get over their fear of speaking in public. 🎤
