In Spanish, the verb "pretender" is used to express "to intend" in English, not "to pretend". To express "to pretend" in Spanish, you must use the verb "fingir".

“To be” or “Not to be” … that´s the question! If you have difficulties to use correctly the verb “TO BE” in Spanish (to make the difference between “SER” and “ESTAR”) … let us help you!

Ser: For permanent characteristics. Example: "She is tall." 🌟
Estar: For temporary states. Example: "She is tired." 😴
