🇺🇸New post after so long!
Hello, dear Russian language learners. You already know that a year and a half ago I became a mother, and, of course, my vocabulary has now changed a lot, because I talk to my child a lot, read to him in Russian, we watch cartoons in Russian.
Therefore, I think I will also share expressions that I often use now, maybe they will be useful to you too!
For example, now we have a small kitten and a child living at home. They play together. They are not allowed to climb into the closet or go into the bathroom. But as soon as I open the closet or the bathroom, both the kitten and the child hear it and come running from either end of the apartment to go there. In this case, I always say: “I just opened the closet, and here you are!” («только я открыла шкаф, а вы тут как тут!»)
this means that they are already in place right at this very second.
“Тут как тут” [tut kak tut] can be translated as:
🇺🇸sure to appear, right there, here you are
In what context could you use this expression?
