Akber Development Organization in collaboration with International Research Forum, arranged "Panel Discussion & Dialogue" on "Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development", on the occasion of International Youth Day, on 12th August, 2016, at C&S Degree College Shikarpur. The panelists included Dr. Kamran Akber Soomro (President, International Research Forum), Mr. Abdul Razaque Lakho (Secretary General Sambara Scouts), Mr. Nadir Bhayo (PhD Scholar in China) & Mr. Sadaqat Hussain Memon (Vice Principal, C&S Degree College).
The panelists shed light on the importance of Youth in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) by UN. They discussed the multiple roles young people may play in the society in the areas of Health, Education, Peace, Economy and Development.
The session was attended by teachers, educationists, students and activists.
Mr. Umair Siddiqui (Joint Secretary ADO) anchored the event. Mr. Imran Akber Soomro (Vice President, ADO) was the main organizer of the event, in coordination with Mr Shoaib Ahmed Channa and Bilal Soomro, the founding members of Akber Development Organization.
