Notice on the Progress of Scholarship admission in 2024

Dear Scholarship applicants，

At present, the recommendation work for the Chinese Government Scholarship (first batch) at Huazhong Agricultural University has been successfully completed. We have sent pre-admission notices via email for recommended candidates from the College of Animal Science and Technology/College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Resources and Environment, College of Life Science and Technology, College of Horticulture and Forestry, College of Economics and Management, College of Engineering.

If you have applied to one of the aforementioned colleges but have not yet received the relevant email, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for this program.

In addition, the recommendation process for the second batch of Chinese Government Scholarships will start around late April. After completing the recommendation work for Chinese Government Scholarships, we plan to initiate the admission process for University Scholarships in mid May. Please pay attention to the latest news released by university.

Can l apply for the Scholarship without the acceptance letter?
Answer: Yes, you can

The acceptance letter helps to build good communication between applicants and supervisors when you contact supervisors by yourselves, to achieve a two-way choice between teachers and students.

If you cannot get it, you can still apply. We have had the online interview since 2021, which means all applicants whether you have an acceptance letter or not, you are requested to attend the online interview, there will be a review panel to examine all applicants who have passed the first round of review by International Students Office (lSO).
