The annual affiliated trip to China, involves Shihan Philip Lee and his team visiting her affiliated dojos in China. (Part 3 of 3)

Ending the last leg of the trip to Tianjin, China at one of Shinju-Kai’s many affiliated dojos in China. The student’s from天津合气道识心塾 were indeed an enthusiastic bunch to be with!

As O’Sensei have once said,

“Progress comes to those who train and train; reliance on secret techniques will get you nowhere.”

This quote is definitely befitting for our students from天津合气道识心塾and we look forward in seeing them grow as a stronger and bigger family.

The annual affiliated trip to TianJin, China involves Shihan Philip Lee and his team visiting her affiliation dojo in TianJin, China from 22nd - 29th October 2015 (Part 1).

Students’ from天津合气道识心塾 were indeed an enthusiastic bunch to be with! Not only were the students keen in learning but possess a burning desire to learn and the eagerness to better refine their understanding of Aikido.

Just as O’Sensei have once said,

Aside from the 3 days seminar, a surprise birthday celebration was organised by the dojo for Shihan Philip and on behalf of everyone at Aikido Shinju-Kai, thank you and we look forward to seeing all of you again as a stronger and bigger family.

合气道天津长谷川道场（Aikido Tianjin Hasagawa Dojo）自本公告之日起，正式更名为合气道识心塾（Aikido Shiki Shin Juku）。合气道识心塾不再使用合气道天津长谷川道场名义从事任何活动。自本公告之日起，任何人再以合气道天津长谷川道场名义从事的一切活动都将与合气道识心塾无任何关系。更名后的合气道识心塾，仍将隶属合气道新加坡心柔会，师承李馥全师范。合气道识心塾也将完全保留原合气道天津长谷川道场的学员与组织结构。

Just watching and seeing Aikido, and actually practicing and doing it are two different matter.

Our perception and understanding of Aikido from when we were a white belt to present training day is constantly changing, and it will continue to change and evolve over the years.

Students should reflect on the meaning and purpose of everything that he has learned and be able to come to a deeper understanding of the art. There are much deeper underlying principles and theory behind the techniques and philosophies of Aikido.
