Siew Min and Song Guan, siblings from Singapore who used to be students at IST, recently paid a visit to their old stomping grounds. After studying there for a year and half, they left in December 2006. The campus has gone through some major changes since then, but for them, it's still a place that holds a special spot in their hearts. It's like coming cack home after all these years!

Happy 29th Birthday IST!

Today is 5. September, and on this day in 1994, 29 years ago, IST opened its doors to 20 students from Nursery to G4 in a villa at No. 6 Mu Nan Dao in Tianjin. Happy 29th Birthday IST!

Remarkable 2023 IB Diploma Results for IST Students!

​IST once again celebrates outstanding student success in the highly demanding International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious university preparatory programme.

Class of 2023 Highlights:
* 100% pass rate
* Henny Lee = perfect 45/45
* 35.5 average(vs world average 30.2)
* 88% > world average
* 36% >gold standard of 40 (vs world average 8.6%)
* 64% Bilingual diplomas
While success in the IB Diploma Programme is never guaranteed, students at IST are guaranteed to be highly competitive and amongst the best prepared students in Tianjin, and globally, with the ability to meet the challenges of university study and life in general. A very bright future awaits them.

Global Recognition of IST’s IB Programmes!

The International School of Tianjin (IST) has a long history of successfully delivering all three of its IB programmes, with learning across the full continuum of programmes culminating at the end of Grade 12 in the award of the IB Diploma, the world’s most widely recognized and respected university preparatory programme. IST continuing outstanding performance in successfully delivering the IB Diploma has once again been acknowledged in the recent publication of global league tables that compare IST achievement results with other IB schools worldwide, of which there are currently 5,518!
