Thai twins Lu Fen and Lu Fang fell in love with China after visiting the country for an exchange program with a delegation in 2015. Lu Fang works at the Thai Consulate General in Chengdu, and both twins have been promoting China-Thailand cultural exchanges. Fangchenggang City and Roi Et City became sister cities in 2018. This year, Roi Et City made an appearance at the China-ASEAN Expo, and the two cities will further deepen their cooperation in the future.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival nears, three schools of Nankai University (Foreign Languages, Chinese Language and Culture, International Education) held traditional cultural activities. The Foreign Languages School had lantern riddles, calligraphy, arrow-throwing, Peking Opera and mooncake making, joined by foreign teacher Ruilong Wu and student Letizia. The other two held the "Chinese Language Festival" opening & Mid-Autumn Carnival, where Indonesian student Yongquan Zhu felt warm. These activities help Chinese and foreign teachers and students understand Chinese culture, enhancing cultural identity and spread.
