50+ countries. One new chapter at NPU. 🌏💙

We officially welcomed our 2026 international students at the Opening Ceremony on September 4, bringing together a new cohort from more than 50 countries.

Senior students shared their NPU journeys, freshmen spoke about their hopes for the years ahead, and our teachers encouraged everyone to stay curious, embrace cultural diversity, make the most of campus opportunities, and keep growing through every challenge.

As the ceremony closed with the NPU anthem, one thing was clear: a new journey has begun.

To the Class of 2026 — study with purpose, connect across cultures, and make these years truly your own.

Welcome to NPU!

A strong start to a new journey. 💙🌏

We welcomed our 2026 international freshmen with a series of orientation activities designed to help them settle in, connect, and confidently begin life at NPU.

From their first class and academic guidance to icebreaking activities, peer sharing, visa and campus information, traffic and financial safety, students gained the practical knowledge and support they need for the journey ahead.

And between all the guidance came new friendships, shared laughter, and even a taste of Chinese culture through mooncake making. 🥮

More than orientation, these first days were about building confidence, community, and a sense of belonging.

Welcome, Class of 2026 — your NPU story has begun! ✨

A message from one international student to the Class of 2026. 🌏

At the 2026 Opening Ceremony, Malaysian student representative Zheng Zhiming shared his hopes for the journey ahead: to master AI rather than simply use it, to understand China while embracing the world, and to pursue excellence with the courage to break new ground.

After four years at NPU, Zheng has now chosen to continue his journey here as a master’s student in Artificial Intelligence.

His message to the new generation was simple: stay curious, think deeply, and become the main character of your own journey.

Welcome to NPU, Class of 2026! 🌏💙

From August 20 to 23, we welcomed our new international students from around the world as they arrived in Xi’an and officially began their NPU journey.

With one-stop registration support, guidance from our staff and student volunteers, and services covering everything from enrollment and accommodation to health and visa assistance, we worked to make every student’s first steps on campus as smooth and welcoming as possible.

Registration may be complete, but the journey is only beginning.

Next up: orientation, campus exploration, course guidance, cultural activities, and many more moments that will make NPU feel like home.

Welcome to the family, Freshmen 2026! ✨
