We carried out the “Silk Road Melodies · Mutual Learning among Civilizations” Chinese and international student practice program, bringing students together through field learning, music, heritage, and dialogue. 🌏

During the nine-day journey, students explored Silk Road heritage, Qin Opera, ethnic music, museum education, and intangible cultural heritage through visits to museums, universities, theatres, and cultural spaces.

Through conversations with scholars, artists, and museum experts, students gained a deeper understanding of how civilizations meet, influence one another, and continue to inspire young people today.

With youth as the voice and culture as the bridge, we continue to create meaningful opportunities for students to experience, understand, and share the beauty of civilizations.

From Xi’an to Yan’an, we joined Chinese and international students on a meaningful journey to explore history, heritage, and culture through the “Perceiving China” cultural practice program. 🌏

Supported by the China Scholarship Council and hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University, the activity brought students together to experience university history, red culture, intangible cultural heritage, Qin Opera, folk arts, Ansai waist drum, paper-cutting, and the ancient Xi’an City Wall.

Through hands-on learning and cross-cultural exchange, students discovered the depth of Chinese history, the vitality of Shaanxi folk culture, and the power of shared experiences in building understanding across cultures.

At NPU, we believe learning goes beyond the classroom — it happens through stories, practice, friendship, and discovery.

From Cambridge to NPU — a conversation about growth, learning, and global friendship. 🌏

We held the sixth session of “Fireside Talk,” welcoming outstanding student representatives from the University of Cambridge for a warm and inspiring exchange with our international students.

During the discussion, students shared insights on academic passion, independent thinking, interview preparation, tutorial-style learning, campus societies, and adapting to high-pressure academic environments.

More than a sharing session, this was a meaningful moment for young people from different backgrounds to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build lasting connections.

At NPU, we believe global learning happens through dialogue, friendship, and shared growth.

🚀 Welcome to NPU Summer 2026!

The “Fly Towards the Future” International Summer Camp and the “Micro-Satellite and Space Science Technology Innovation Practice Camp” officially opened at Northwestern Polytechnical University.

Students from Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Russia, and other countries have gathered at NPU to begin an exciting journey of learning, exploration, and cultural exchange.

During the summer camp, participants will explore cutting-edge aerospace technologies, engage in innovation practices, experience NPU’s unique engineering strengths, and build friendships with young talents from around the world.

We look forward to witnessing new ideas, discoveries, and connections take flight this summer! 🌏✨
