Now, with a Research Assistant offer from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Florensia is ready for her next chapter.

World No. 1 at ICRA 2026! 🏆🤖

The official competition results of the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2026), a premier conference in robotics, have been announced. In the finals held in Vienna, Austria, Team sZs ranked first globally in the LeHome Challenge 2026 Real-World Challenge with an outstanding score of 895, with Shuqi Guo, a master’s student at the School of Data Science, CUHK-Shenzhen, and a Class of 2024 alumnus, serving as a core member.

This achievement highlights the team’s breakthroughs in embodied AI and deformable object manipulation, as well as CUHKSZ students’ innovation and research excellence in real-world intelligent systems.

🌿 New Exhibition at UAC | Rooted Clay, Flowing Sand

“Rooted Clay, Flowing Sand — Butter Z. Solo Exhibition & Ceramic Course Showcase” is now on view at TC101 SPACE.

Curated by GAO Jiangbo, the exhibition unfolds as an artistic odyssey and a dialogue with the earth, tracing Butter Z.’s creative journey through clay, memory, homeland, and handwork.

The showcase also features selected works by students from UAC’s ceramic course, continuing the warmth of handwork and exploring the diverse possibilities of clay.
