General Information
Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning Province and one of the largest cities in China. It is also the center of economy, culture, transportation, and business activities in northeastern China. Shenyang city has been listed as one of the top ten most competitive cities in China.
Liaoning Communication University (LNCU) is approved by the Liaoning Provincial Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. LNCU has two campuses, north and south, covering an area of approximately 1,600 acres, with over 12,000 students currently enrolled. LNCU is one of the eight communication universities in China.
LNCU intends to cultivate sustainable talents for the current and upcoming media industry. The university offers various advanced facilities, such as a sports stadium, library, art gallery, and student activity center.
The university has 105 laboratories relevant to different majors and 67 off-campus internship platforms. LNCU offers 39 undergraduate specialties, some of which are taught in English, including Animation Design, Network & Multi-media Applications, Visual Communication Design, Multi-media Marketing & Management, Fashion Design, International Trade, and Business Administration. In addition, LNCU has over 600 Chinese faculty and staff with outstanding academic achievements and exceptional teaching skills in their relevant fields.
The university has established academic and exchange relations with countries such as the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France, providing students from these countries with opportunities to participate in exchange programs. Moreover, LNCU regularly invites distinguished international experts to enrich its educational and teaching content.
