When the Bangladesh Liberation War started he joined the Mukti Bahini. In 1974, he was stationed with the Bengal Lancers. Due to accusation of breach of discipline he lost his commission in 1974.

আজকের এই দিনে ছাত্ররা যেভাবে বুক চিতিয়ে দিচ্ছে রাইফেল এর গুলিতে মরার জন্য এই দায়ভার কার :
ইউনিভার্সিটি এর শিক্ষা ব্যাবস্তা আজ আজ কাদের হাতে , যাদের কোনো ভালো রিসার্চ ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড নাই , যারা কোনো পাবলিকেশন করতে জানে না। যারা ভালো কিছু শিখাতে পারে না , অথচ তারা ওই ইউনিভার্সিটি চালাচ্ছে। বুয়েট এন্ড ঢাকা ইউনিভার্সিটি এর মতো ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলো এর পাবলিকেশন রেঞ্জ ১২০০-১৫০০ বাৎসরিক , অথচ আমাদের পার্শবর্তী দেশ ইন্ডিয়া তে নরমাল ইউনিভার্সিটি তে এর চাইতে বেশি পাবলিকেশন হয়। অথচ এই দেশের ইউনিভার্সিটি শিক্ষকরা মনে করে তারা বিশ্ব সেরা। তাদের খুঁজে পাওয়া খুব কঠিন। আমি এইটুকু ও শিকার করি যেখানে আমাদের প্রাইমারি এন্ড সেকেন্ডারি শিক্ষা ব্যাবস্তা বিশ্ব মানের। ঐখানে ইউনিভার্সিটি শিক্ষা ব্যাবস্তা খুব ওই খারাপ।
আমাদের সমাজ ব্যাবস্তা খুব ওই খারাপ। সমাজের মানুষ গুলো স্টুডেন্টদের সফলতায় যেভাবে তেল মারে আর বাহবা দেয়, খারাপ সময় ঠিক এর বিপরীত। কোনো স্টুডেন্ট খারাপ করলে ওই সে খারাপ হয়ে গেসে। ওরে দিয়ে সমাজের কিছু হবে না। অশিক্ষিত মানুষ গুলো শিক্ষিত সরকারি চাকরিবিহীন সমাজকে প্রায় ওই টার্গেট করতে দেখা যায় , তাদের কটুক্তি করতে ভুলে না। ওই স্টুডেনটির এমন পরিস্তিতি হয় যেন তার, শিক্ষিত হওটাই একটা বড় ভুল।
চাকরির অভাব জিনিসটা আমাদের দেশে খুব ওই একটা কমন ব্যাপার । এইটা সবাইকে মেনে নিতে হবে। আমাদের দেশে গ্রাম এর স্টুডেন্টরা কম সুজুগ পায় কোয়ালিটি শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে এইটা সেকেন্ডারি এডুকেশন এর ক্ষেত্রে ঠিক আসে। কিন্তু ইউনিভার্সিটি এডুকেশন তো সিটি তেই হয়। এইখানে কোনো ডিফারেন্স নাই। কোটা এর আসলেই কোনো দরকার নাই এই কম্পিটিটিভ যুগে। দেশকে এগিয়ে নিতে ১৯৭১ এর সংগ্রাম যথেষ্ট না। এই যুগের সবাইকে সংগ্রাম করতে হবে। যারা টিকে থাকবে ওরাই এগিয়ে যাবে। নতুন একটা বাংলাদেশ তুলে ধরবে, দেশকে ভালোবাসবে। আমরা সবাই যোদ্ধা। আমরা শিক্ষিত সমাজ। আমরা বাংলাদেশ কে ভালোবাসি , আমরা দেশকে মিস করি। কোনো এক্সট্রা সুবিধা এর প্রয়োজন নাই। কোনো কোটা এর প্রয়োজন নাই। আমি বাংলাদেশ এর আইন কে রেস্পেক্ট করি। আসা করি আইন ছাত্রদের পক্ষে থাকবে।

আলহামদুলিল্লাহ! সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহ তাআলার, যিনি সকল সৃষ্টির সৃষ্টিকর্তা। যার অসীম দয়া ও করুণায় আমার সকল সফলতা এসেছে। সকল প্রশংসা সেই মহান সত্ত্বার যিনি আমাকে এই গবেষণা সম্পন্ন করার তৌফিক দিয়েছেন এবং এর জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় জ্ঞান, সাহস, ও ধৈর্য্য প্রদান করেছেন।
আল্লাহর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা, যিনি আমার জীবনকে জ্ঞানার্জনের পথে পরিচালিত করেছেন এবং সকল প্রতিকূলতায় সহায়তা দিয়েছেন। তাঁর অশেষ রহমতে আমি আমার লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছাতে পেরেছি।

Xuzhou Medical University
Xuzhou Medical College began to recruit M.B.B.S. international students since 2005, MD/MS program in 2012 and PhD program in 2014. XZMC was authorized to hold HSK exam by the Ministry of Education of China and it was the first university HSK site in Huaihai Economic Zone. Now XZMC is on the list of authorized universities to recruit international students by the Ministry of Education of China. Two Batches of international students have been graduated from the college, of which the Nepali students’ medical license exam passing rate reached 100% and 86% separately. With the geographical advantages (airport available, less than three hours by train to Beijing or Shanghai) and full attention of whole college, the education for international student in XZMC developed fast. To enhance the teaching quality, XZMC sent groups of teachers abroad for further study, and invite tutors and experts to college to give guidance and lectures. To improve the study environment, XZMC provide the best playground, stadium, canteen with Muslim food, etc. In student’s dormitory, hot water, heater, air-conditioner, separate toilet and separate wash room, etc. are always provided. To improve the campus life, School of International Education of XZMC organized various activities. For example, participate in Sports Meeting, Singing and Dancing Competition, Chinese Speech Contest, etc., visit great places such as cultural monuments, parks, social welfare institute, etc. The International Student Union was also held and be ready to contribute to the study and life in China. In addition to Jasmine Scholarship of Jiangsu Province, XZMC provides the College Scholarship for excellent international students. Meanwhile, School of International Education also provides Dean’s Scholarship for international students who have outstanding performance in study, research, life and activities. With the encouragement of provincial and various college scholarships, there are about 260 undergraduate students, 13 postgraduate students and 6 doctoral students from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Comoros, Somalia, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Sudan, Zambia Congo and Pakistan studying hard in XZMC.

Xiamen Medical University
Xiamen University was founded in 1921 by the well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader Tan Kah Kee, the first university in China to be founded by an overseas Chinese. Xiamen University has a strong team of academic and administrative staff, making it possible to provide a full range of educational programmes. It is a key comprehensive university directly affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China, a first-class university with extensive international influence and is ranked in the top 20 of the over 2,000 universities and colleges in China. Xiamen University’s campuses lie on either side of Xiamen Bay, between the feet of green hills and the blue sea, and are recognized as the most beautiful campuses in China. The university has a graduate school and 26 schools or colleges consisting of 66 departments, together with nine research institutes. The university offers 83 undergraduate programmes, 214 academic master’s programmes and 34 professional master’s programmes, and 147 PhD programmes. Its first-class staff includes over 2,500 full-time academic and research staff, among which 23 are academicians of CAS and CAE. The university now has a total enrolment of over 40,000 full-time students, including over 3,000 overseas students.Xiamen University is among the first universities affiliated to Ministry of Education to accept Chinese Government Scholarship students and Confucius Scholarship students； meanwhile Fujian Government Scholarship and Xiamen University Scholarship have been established to fund more high-level exceptional international students to study here.

Fujian Medical University
Fujian Medical University (FMU) was founded in 1937. Through 77 years of development, it’s become a provincial educational institution to combine teaching, scientific research, medical treatment and social services, producing bachelors, masters, and PhDs. The university located in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. Now it consists of Shangjie campus and Taijiang campus, covering an area of approximately 100 hectares with a floor space of 400,000 square meters. At present, it the university comprises 20 schools and departments, which offer 24 undergraduate programs, 29 doctorate programs, 63 master programs, and 5 authorized master degree specialties. For now, it has over 13,000 undergraduates and about 2,600 doctoral and master’s programs learners. Currently, FMU has a staff of about 9280 with a faculty of 1241. Among them, those with senior professional title account for 70.75%, and there’re 111 doctoral advisers and 618 master tutors. Besides, it boasts 16 affiliated hospitals, and 30 clinical teaching-oriented hospitals, forming a relatively complete system for clinical teaching. Since 1998 it has enrolled more than 300 international students. Since 2008 FMU has been listed as the university which is qualified to recruit the foreign students of medicine taught in English by National Education Ministry. In 2011, FMU was approved as the university to accept the Chinese government scholarship students. Now it has more than 300 international students.

Hebei United University is a key university with a history of more than one hundred years in Hebei province. It is also a comprehensive university with multi-discipline and multi-level education programs. Its discipline covers engineering, medicine, sciences, economics, management, law and humanities. Education programs are provided for masters, bachelors, international students and adult students. It was built by the government of Hebei Province together with State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision and SASTIND.

Jiamusi University
Jiamusi University （JU） is located in the center of the beautiful and rich Sanjiang Plain and in the famous northeastern city of Jiamusi. Founded in 1947, it has now become a key comprehensive university under the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. It is larger in scale and more formidable with the integrated strength. JU has an area of 1.5 million square meters and its buildings have a floor space of 1.06 million square meters. JU has a total of 26 colleges with 72 specialties offering bachelor’s or associate degrees, and 34 academic disciplines authorized to grant master’s degrees. The specialties are included in the following eleven academic disciplines: literature, natural sciences, technological science, medicine, economics, education, law, history, management, agriculture and fine arts. JU has been operating its university with an open-door policy and implementing internationalization of higher education. It has established friendly relationships and educational, academic, and scientific exchanges and research with universities in more than 14 countries and regions such as the US, Japan, Russia, South Korea, India and Pakistan.

Harbin Medical University
HMU was founded in 1926. HMU is key “Project 211” university in Heilongjiang Province. The affiliated institutions of HMU include: School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Public Health, School of Pharmacy, School of Health Administration, Department of Bioinformatics, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Graduate School, School of Adult Education （School of Continuing Education）, five medical schools （affiliated hospitals）, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing, and Daqing Campus. Organizations based in HMU include Center for Endemic Disease Control of CDC, National Research Center for Clinical Trial of New Drugs, Russian Language Training Center of the Ministry of Health, Heilongjiang Branch of China Medical Academy and Heilongjiang Provincial Medical Academy. It has 8 first-grade doctorate degree programs including basic medical sciences, clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine, biology, biomedical engineering, public management, pharmacy, nursing, and 11 first-grade master’s degree programs. 57 second-grade doctorate degree programs, and 61 second-grade master’s degree programs. HMU has 5 postdoctoral research programs and 2 postdoctoral work stations. There are 3 national key disciplines. 15321 students are currently enrolled in HMU, including 673 full-time PhD students, 3796 master student, 7098 undergraduate students and 232 international students.

Fudan University
In 1905, Yu Youren and Shao Lizi left Zhendan Public School to support Ma Xiangbo in founding Fudan Public School in Wusong. The school’s name was chosen from the “Biography of Yuxia” in the Classic of History, where the two characters fù复 (“return”) and dàn旦 (“dawn”) are found in the lines “Auspicious clouds are splendid, they gather and fill the sky; Brilliant are the sunshine and moonlight, again the morning glory after the night.” The original meaning was the pursuit of greatness, and it implies self-run education and the revival of China. Ma Xiangbo and Yanfu each held the post of school president. Li Denghui was president from 1913 until 1936. During his 23-year tenure, Fudan developed into a distinguished private university renowned for developing applied skills in the fields of business, economics, news reporting, education, and civil engineering, with a complete program from middle school through graduate school.

After the outbreak of the Anti-JapaneseWar in 1937, some Fudan teachers and students moved to Beibei in Chongqing. In 1941 an agricultural college was added. On New Year’s Day 1942, the National Government’s Administrative Department ratified changing Fudan from private to state-run, with the full name Fudan State-run University. Wu Nanxuan was school president, followed by Zhang Yi. In the summer of 1946, the Chongqing school moved back to the original location in Shanghai’s Jiangwan, combining with the Shanghai school, and the school again increased in scale

Tongji University
Tongji University is a key university directly under the State Education Ministry. It was founded in 1907. Now it has become a comprehensive university offering programs in sciences, engineering, medicine, philosophy, liberal arts, law, economics, management and education.Tongji University currently offers 75 undergraduate programs, 55master’s programs, 31doctoral programs, and there are 25post-doctoral research centers in the university. In 2013, its total enrollment reached 63970, including over 18900 graduate students for master’s or doctoral degrees and over 4047 international students. Tongji University possesses a strong teaching staff and researchers of about 2938, among whom there are 14 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering，and about 2,000 professors and associate professors. There are also seven university hospitals located in different campuses. Tongji University is located in the Yangpu Universities Area of Shanghai.
