It is a “key high school” in Shanghai that is under the direct auspices of the country’s Ministry of Education and is renowned at home and abroad for its education of high quality. The school moved itself to Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong in 2002,with a new campus covering an area of 150 mu and enjoying convenient transportation, next to Metro Line 2. It serves as a modern boarding school of high standard with over 1,500 Chinese and overseas students and faculty &staff over 200 at present. EFZ Zhangjiang Campus offers first-class facilities, including Office Building, Teaching Building, Library & Information Building, Lab Building, Art Building, Observatory, Conference Hall, Music Hall that holds 500 people, Indoor Gym, Indoor Swimming Pool, 400-meter Plastic Cement Race Track, Standard-size Football Field, Athletic Field, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Dormitory Building with 400 rooms, each housing 4 students, Dining Center, and a Chain convenience store.
