Our Story
Shane English School China is a well-established and well-respected English training centre. SESC is part of the Saxoncourt Group of Companies, with its Headquarters in London and Taipei and schools all over the world. XIA Education is the parent company of our China operations and is based in China’s commercial capital, Shanghai. Our first school in China opened in 2000, and with over 40 years’ experience in international education, modern centres and passionate teaching staff, we quickly earned a reputation for quality. We currently have several schools in Shanghai, and over 60 across China.
Our motto, and our mission, has always been ‘More Than English’. We don’t just teach English, we teach children. We teach character, values and positive attitudes. We encourage our students to think, express themselves and develop their individuality.
