In the cold winter months we like to look back to the amazing adventures we had in the summer! Here’s some unseen images from our Beijing Great Wall Exploration Camp in July and August of 2019. Currently our Team in the office is eagerly preparing the next camps for summer 2020! On that note, we are still looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic counselors to help create an amazing time on our camps in July/ August 2020. Interested? Better apply straight away!

We hope you all had some wonderful festive days! Over the holidays we traveled to the far north of China to enjoy the snow. On our Jilin Skiing Camp we spent 6 days in the mountains, rushing down the slopes and relaxing in the beautiful scenery. In the afternoons we huddled up in the warm to make cookies, paint and felt. One day we also enjoyed stick bread and sausages.
As the last camp of 2019 has come to an end, the WWC team wishes you all a happy new year!

Are you interested in becoming a counselor on one of our Waldorf camps in China 2020? On our camps we engage children to experience Waldorf education in a natural environment, enabling them to understand the value of individual characteristics. Other than singing, storytelling and playing games, you as a counselor can contribute your own ideas and projects to the camps. In the past we had theatre projects, hiking explorations, woodwork courses and much more projects. If you have an activity you might remember from your time as a Waldorf student, then why not apply now to join us on this amazing adventure in China!
Our summer camps 2020 (July/August) take place in various regions of China, e.g. The Great Wall in Beijing, Thousand Island Lake, Tonglu, Guangdong, Shanghai and Ningbo. We take care of your visa fees and pay your intercontinental airfare to China and back up to a certain amount.
We provide accommodation and meals during the camps.

At this time of the year most of the citizens remain in their cosy warm homes, but we didn’t of course! A worthwhile day trip to Song Jiang, just out of Shanghai was our activity for saturday. Climbing trees, Climbing walls, playing games, experiencing nature, handcrafts and singing lots of songs rounded this beautiful winter day off. Next week we will be back on the rooftop and make some beautiful crafts that make sounds🎶. Can you guess what we will make? 🌞❄️

Farm Day! On our most recent excursion we left the bustling city of Shanghai and headed for the farmlands! On this Beautiful organic farm we were invited to harvest the rice crops. We made some Scarecrows, dug up sweet potatoes and prepared a healthy lunch for ourselves! We definitely want to come back!
