We are excited to launch one of our newest advanced module - Aerial Yin!

20 - 24 March
Ubud, Bali

𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 is a fusion of the classical practice of mat-based 𝗬𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗸. The Aerial Yoga hammock naturally follows the shapes of the body and supports the body where it needs to be supported. The hammock can help make poses more accessible by carrying (part of) the body weight, while it can create more depth and intensity in other poses as well for those who prefer that. We can also actively use the hammock to apply stress by using the fabric to create pressure, to massage the body, in order to reduce tension in the soft tissue and stimulate the flow of energy.

You cannot bend evenly along the spine.

You bend where your bone shape allows you to. Some of us are high benders, low benders, some may be relatively even, and some does not bend much at all.

Study all about the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, how our bone morphology influences how much (or how little) we can bend, and the common pathologies relating to the spine.

These differences will be demonstrated via live anatomical tests on real human bodies. Implications in yoga poses will be discussed.
