Ever feel like something just happened to you? 😬
That’s exactly when you use 被 (bèi)!
💡 Structure
Subject + 被 + Doer + Verb (+ Result)
It shows the subject receives the action. 被 = something happens TO you, not something you do.

🐺🐯 狼吞虎咽 (láng tūn hǔ yàn) -to gobble up / devour food
Ever been SO hungry you just attack your food? 😅
That’s exactly what this idiom describes — eating super fast, like a wolf or tiger!
🐯Example:
他饿了一天,一上桌就狼吞虎咽地吃起来。He hadn’t eaten all day and started devouring his food.
(tā è le yì tiān, yí shàng zhuō jiù láng tūn hǔ yàn de chī qǐlái)
❗ It’s natural in casual speech, but don’t use it to describe someone politely 😄

要么…要么… (yàome… yàome…) — "either… or…"
✅ Super useful in daily speaking!
Used to present two mutually exclusive choices — only one can be chosen.
💡 Structure
要么 + option A + 要么 + option B
————————————
⚠️ Don't confuse it with:
或者 → neutral "or" (no strong choice, can be inclusive)
还是 → "or" used in questions
👉 要么…要么… = a clear, often decisive either-or situation (strong choice)
