Chinese Drama Words: ___死了

热死了 - rè sǐ le - I'm dying of heat
冻死了 - dòng sǐ le - Freezing to death
气死了 - qì sǐ le - So angry

Notice the pattern: adjective + 死了 (sǐ le, "to death") = "extremely ___." It's the exact same drama as English "starving to death" or "dead tired" nobody's actually dying, they just really mean it 😵 Bonus: 困死了 is sleepy-tired, 累死了 is worn-out-tired. Two kinds of exhausted!
