Maths excellence at the Shanghai International Primary Maths Challenge! 🏆
Our Year 5 and Year 6 maths teams recently competed against ten schools and 22 teams in two days of challenging mathematical events, including logic puzzles, investigations, strategy games, the Tower of Hanoi and a creative rollercoaster construction task.
Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving, collaboration and resilience, our teams achieved outstanding results, winning five of the ten rounds. Our Year 5 team claimed the Year 5 trophy, while our Year 6 team finished first overall and our Year 5 team finished second overall.
There was also individual success, with Anna taking first place in Year 6, David achieving first place in Year 5 and being crowned overall individual champion, and Aiden securing third place in Year 5.

Coming together for a ‘Forever Dulwich’ Founder’s Day ❤️
More than 5,000 members of the Dulwich Pudong community came together to celebrate Founder’s Day on 30 May.
This year’s theme, ‘Forever Dulwich’, honoured our shared history and the generations who have shaped our unique community.
Together, students, their families, and staff shared an afternoon and evening full of music, performances, creativity, sports, and fun, culminating in a spectacular Gala Concert.

🎭 Year 1 presents Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book!
Students took an enthralled audience on an exciting journey with the Year 1 performance in April.
The production celebrated imagination, creativity and the joy of reading through larger-than-life characters, imaginative settings, and exciting adventures along the way.

We were thrilled to welcome the UK’s Poet Laureate Simon Armitage to Dulwich Pudong for a masterclass in the English language.
The world-renowned poet visited on 10 April to deliver an inspiring series of poetry workshops for students of all ages. Together they experienced the beauty of literature and the power of ideas through the interplay of poetry and language.
Students, staff and parents also gathered for an evening of poetry reading and a panel discussion led by Year 13 students.
Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong has always been committed to creating broader learning experiences for students. By bringing in leading global experts from diverse fields, knowledge has the space to grow through face-to-face dialogue and intellectual exchange.

🚒 DUCKS Fire Engine Visit
As part of their Community Helpers learning project, DUCKS students enjoyed a surprise visit from local firefighters. Children explored real equipment, climbed aboard a fire engine, and learned how firefighters respond in emergencies - sparking curiosity while building safety awareness through hands-on learning.
🎭 Reception Concert
Our Reception children delighted audiences with the ‘Magic Book Adventure’, bringing our values to life through confident voices, expressive movement, and joyful storytelling. Their enthusiasm and teamwork shone throughout, creating a memorable end-of-term celebration filled with DUCKS magic.
🏊 Year 5 Triathlon
Year 5 students launched their first Service-Learning project, a sponsored team triathlon in support of community partner You For Good. Through teamwork and determination, they raised funds while developing leadership and collaboration skills, making a meaningful impact on girls’ education in China.
🌟 Junior School Personal Growth Celebrations
Students were recognised for achievements across academics, the arts, sport, and beyond. With parents and peers in attendance, the celebration honoured dedication, resilience, and progress throughout Term 2, highlighting the positive attitudes behind each success.
🎶 Spring Concert
Our annual Spring Concert brought the community together for an evening of music. From a Les Misérables medley to New York, New York, students showcased talent, creativity, and collaboration in a vibrant and memorable celebration.

🏅 Worldwise Primary Games
48 students, 9 schools, countless achievements! Every student returned with a medal from Singapore, plus six team trophies, including 1st place in Year 5 swimming. A true celebration of teamwork and determination.
🏆 China School Awards
We’re proud winners of the Enterprise & Employability Award — our fourth national award in three years! Even more special, our students led the interview process. We were also finalists in Holistic Education and Arts & Creativity.
🎶 FOBISIA Primary Music Festival
Our talented students shone in Bangkok alongside peers from 17 schools, bringing this year’s “Heroes” theme to life through inspiring performances, workshops, and a spectacular gala concert.

National Champions! After months of dedication, our team raced to victory at the National Finals. Next stop: World Finals in Singapore this October 🌍

ACAMIS Football 2026 comes to a thrilling close at Dulwich Pudong, with victory for the home teams ⚽
12 teams, six schools, and two unforgettable days of competition and camaraderie.
After an exciting knockout stage, congratulations to Dulwich Pudong Girls and Dulwich Pudong Boys on their outstanding victories — a true showcase of skill, teamwork, and determination.
A big well done to finalists Renaissance College Hong Kong Girls and SSIS Suzhou Boys, who pushed the Dulwich teams all the way and demonstrated incredible resilience throughout.
Thank you to all players, coaches, and supporters for making this tournament such a fantastic celebration of football and the power of the ACAMIS schools network.

ACAMIS Football 2026 comes to Dulwich Pudong⚽
14 teams, six schools and two days of incredible sportsmanship. We've reached the end of Day 1 of this year's ACAMIS U18 Football Tournament, hosted at Dulwich Pudong.
Over the course of four rounds so far, there have been some amazing displays of skill and teamwork, with more to come during tomorrow's knockout stage.
In the girls competition, well played to the DCSPD Panthers and RCHK Kites for four wins apiece, while the DCB Lions and SSIS Dragons have a slight edge in a tightly-contested boys competition with a solid two wins each.

🏆Record-Breaking FOBISIA Primary Maths Challenge 2026 at Dulwich College Shanghai!
From 5–7 March, Dulwich College Shanghai hosted the annual FOBISIA Primary Maths Challenge across its Pudong and Puxi campuses, welcoming over 320 students, 80 teams and 42 schools from 10 countries across Asia.
Over two days, students tackled 187 mathematical challenges across logic, construction, investigation and data rounds, plus an escape-room style puzzle and the signature 'Around the World in 80 Minutes' challenge inspired by 29 countries. The event celebrated creativity, collaboration and problem-solving, with teams working together to plan strategies and solve complex puzzles.
This year’s competition was the largest in the event’s history, made possible by an innovative co-hosting model: Year 5 teams competed at Dulwich Puxi, while Year 6 teams competed at Dulwich Pudong, allowing more schools than ever to take part.
We are also delighted to share that Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong won the overall team competition (a feat also achieved by their Senior School peers in the recent FOBISIA Secondary Maths Challenge in Bangkok).
A fantastic achievement reflecting the strength of our maths programme and the power of teamwork 🎉
Beyond the competition, the event brought together young mathematicians from across Asia to exchange ideas, challenge themselves and build lasting friendships.

As part of their MUN journey, Year 5 students took part in the annual D5MUN conference, exploring disaster risk reduction while developing debate and oracy skills. Guest speaker Deepak Goel shared insights on international cooperation.

In an incredible MUN opportunity, 27 Junior and Senior School students travelled to New York to debate global issues, collaborate with peers and visit iconic landmarks, bringing classroom learning to life.

With 47 teams competing from across Asia, our students delivered outstanding performances in Bangkok.

Our community came together for a fantastic evening supporting the Peace Centre in Uganda, complete with a quiz, fancy dress competition, raffle and silent auction.
