Good Monday to everyone! Let's start the week with some inspirational facts from the country with the 2nd biggest economy today, China.

Another big mega trend shaping China's economy is the huge Manufacturing scale.
Consumers around the world are long acusstomed to things being "Made In China". China is the world's whorkshop. It is also sometimes known as "the place where underwear comes from".
This mega trend is not just about manufacturing, it is about manufacturing scale, being a lot bigger than your competitors in the market.

China is the world's largest manufacturer with over $2.9 trillion in value-add.

China's Influence Through Manufacturing If China invests heavily today in technology that will be obsolete tomorrow, it could find itself in a position of dwindling manufacturing dominance.

CHINA is currently witnessing the largest migration in human history. Hundreds of millions of people are flooding from the countryside into the cities. And while over 300 million people have already migrated in the past 30 years, predictions say there are another 350 million yet on the way.
This process began in earnest 1080's when government controls on where people could live were loosened.

Such a huge migration of people almost changes everything. So it is being not just an economic and demographic trend, but also a cultural phenomenon.

"Urbanization" it's the most important phenomenon shaping modern China.

What Should We Understand about Urbanization in China? China’s extraordinary economic boom has gone hand-in-hand with urbanization. In 1950 13% of people in China lived in cities. By 2010, the urban share of the population had grown to 45%; it’s projected to reach 60% by 2030. Twenty-five of the world’s largest 100 cities are in China.
