⛳️ YCIS Shanghai golfers earned multiple podium finishes over the weekend, including champions and runners-up across age groups.
⛹️‍♀️ In a friendly match between our two campuses, Pudong girls basketball secured a 47–26 victory, with both sides showing great teamwork.
🏀 In an exciting intraschool friendly, Pudong U14 boys edged Puxi 58–55 in a thrilling comeback, with the MVP scoring the decisive points in the final moments.
🥏 Pudong U14 Ultimate Frisbee won their first-ever friendly match 7–3 against Puxi, both teams showing great promise for the programme.

🚗Tesla on YCIS Campus: What Do Kids Think?
On 30 Apr, our YCIS learners stepped into a very special science lesson. They explored the structure and functions of a real Tesla car with their hands and eyes; an exciting light show lit up every pair of little faces; and K3 & K4 classes joined a demo session to get up close to autonomous driving — learning how driverless technology is reshaping mobility and protecting our planet. YCIS: partnering with leading tech to bring real innovation into the classroom. From curiosity to exploration, from exploration to reflection — this is what authentic STEAM learning looks like.

🎉Pride in every performance: YCIS Shanghai’s sports community sets the bar high

The Pudong girls' team secured back-to-back ACAMIS football championships, and the Pudong boys' team received the Spirit of ACAMIS award. The Puxi campus also put in a strong performance.

The Pudong Ultimate Frisbee team showed great commitment in their final tournament, winning their last two matches to finish 5th out of 12 in Division 2. In their debut season, they climbed to 17th overall out of 35 teams — a strong foundation for the future.

Students and staff at RP Campus transformed into superheroes for an action-packed Sports Day, featuring thrilling tug-of-war battles, skill-based challenges, and wonderful parent support — a truly heroic celebration of movement, teamwork, and community spirit.

Pudong gymnasts competed across all four artistic gymnastics disciplines at the MultiSport Gymnastics Team Cup, showcasing strength, balance, and determination in a fantastic atmosphere of resilience, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Puxi Step 4 frisbee and basketball seasons are underway, with young teams competing locally. The cross-campus golf team earned podium finishes: Sebastian 3rd, Coco runner-up. The Puxi swim team achieved personal bests at the SSL meet.
