Derek Gow turned his 300-acre farm into a haven for lost wildlife.

Once a traditional farmer, he saw how species were disappearing.

So, he removed the fences—literally and metaphorically—and invited nature back.

Now, beavers, wildcats, boars, and even lynx live there.

His story is proof: we can reverse the damage if we act.

But it’s not always easy.

Some species, like corncrakes, face bigger challenges. Habitat loss, migration, and other risks make their survival harder.

Rewilding isn’t just about animals—it’s about giving nature a chance to recover and thrive.

We need more efforts like this. Time is running out.

This made me cry at the end. Congratulations to Greenpeace International and Jacob Collier and Aurora for beautiful storytelling that haunts the spirit.

Too much of environmental actions are head-based metrics or protesting against something. In all my years (since 2006) of being one of China's leading environmentalists, none of that was effective.

To save our environment, we must first restore our own Inner Environments. Music set on Nature's Grand Stage touches our hearts, rocks our souls.

Yesterday was the hottest day in recorded history across California.

Their power consumption peaked at 52,061 MW.

They ended the day without load shedding and with renewables contributing 35% of total demand at peak hours and continuing to provide 10% of the state’s power after sunset.
