Cbl-b protein is a type of E3 ubiquitin ligase that negatively regulates immune function and shows great potential as a novel intracellular immune checkpoint drug target.
ReadCrystal Biotechnology has successfully expressed, purified, and crystallized the 38-427 fragment of the Cbl-b protein, which includes the TKB, LHR, and RING domains. We have also accumulated extensive data on the co-crystal structures of this target and its inhibitors. In addition, we have experience with proteins related to the Cbl-b pathway, both upstream and downstream, which allows us to shorten turnaround time to 1-2 months.

Exciting News | Electrolyte Fine-Tuning Alters M*F Catalyst's CO2 Reduction Selectivity, MicroED Reveals M*F Structure
On July 26, 2024, Professor Rong Cao's team from the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, published an article in Angewandte Chemie International Edition. They synthesized a copper-porphyrin-based metal-organic framework catalyst, FICN-8, and explored its CO2 reduction activity under different electrolyte compositions.
The study found that FICN-8 primarily produced CO in the absence of a proton source, while the main product gradually shifted to formic acid (HCOOH) when a proton source was added to the electrolyte. This discovery provides new insights into altering CO2RR product selectivity by tuning the electrolyte composition.
ReadCrystal Biotechnology collected a total of 11 datasets, from which the four best-quality datasets were selected for combined processing, completing the structure resolution in 4 days.

MicroED achieves nearly the same high resolution as X-ray crystallography, but requires single crystal samples only at the nanometer scale. This reduction in sample size greatly decreases the difficulty and time needed for protein single crystal cultivation. For the important co-crystal structure analysis in drug development, MicroED significantly reduces the required crystal size, offering many practical advantages.

KRAS protein is an important cancer target protein. ReadCrystal has completed the protein expression and structural analysis of multiple KRAS mutation targets. Based on these experimental conditions and available protein inventory, ReadCrystal has shortened the turnaround time to 1-2 months and ensures the successful delivery of the project.
