The first half of the program is successfully completed! The UN sessions and tours have been very informative and lots of fun. We have been told by many of our students that they only knew bits and pieces about the UN, and through virtual tours, real-world examples and personal stories, they now understand the UN, its missions and SDGs much better. Thank you again for the wonderful tours and online briefings! United Nations Visitors Centre Through such valuable opportunity, students are inspired and encouraged to learn more and do more. As we are getting close to the Chinese New Year holiday, policies regarding COVID-19 have become the center of discussion. The world's biggest annual migration is now underway, but due to recent surge of COVID-19 cases, local governments are urging residents to refrain from travel this New Year. While it is tradition for Chinese to return home to visit families, this year, many may choose to stay in the cities for the health of themselves and of others.
