💡 April’s question: Who could you become in your dancing today?

Invite dancers to explore character, intention and storytelling through movement.

💭 Perfect for Performance Strand work, where individual interpretation is celebrated. Consider who your character is – or invent your own version. Encourage students to bring each choreographer’s movement language to life through their body.

The next opportunity to train to deliver the Storytellers Performance Strand Pathway is on 16-17 May 2026.

Wondering what a Syllabus Training course looks like? 📚

Here’s a peek at what we’ll be covering on our Level 1 Training, starting this weekend, where a new cohort of educators will become Rambert Grades Trained Teachers of Grades 1–3 Contemporary Dance.

Across six 2-3 hour sessions, participants learn the structure, syllabus content and pedagogical approach that underpin delivery of our three strands: Technical, Performance and Creative. Sessions are led by our Delivering Artists, with physical participation, teaching practice, and space for peer discussion and reflection.

All syllabus content and teaching resources are included, alongside post-training support.

There are just a few places remaining, with Refresher Training spaces also available for those revisiting the material.

This Sunday, we welcome the second cohort of teachers to train in Future Movers 🎉

Following a successful, invite-only pilot, the new Contemporary Dance grade is already being delivered by Trained Teachers worldwide, with strong feedback emerging from its introduction in studios and schools.

Developed as a bridge between Primary and Grade 1, Future Movers supports young dancers at a pivotal stage in their progression by introducing the building blocks of memorising material, cementing physical skills, and encouraging early musicality.

As the fourth Ofqual-regulated qualification in the syllabus, it marks an important step for our Trained Teachers' young students.

Curious about Future Movers? Hear it from the teachers who’ve trained with us 💭

Our first Future Movers Syllabus Training sold out and was very positively received by teachers, and the next online course takes place on Sunday 22 March.

Future Movers is a bridging Contemporary Dance qualification designed to support young dancers as they transition from Primary to Grade 1, helping students build confidence with more complex movement, creative interpretation and memorisation.
