GG Review｜Third Stop 2009

In 2009, the competition was held for the third time, and the final of YICGG2009 was organized in Tbilisi, Georgia, featuring world citizenship and global perspectives.🌏

The theme of this year‘s competition was ”Innovations in Global Governance for 2020: When Integrated Economy, Environment, Finance, Security are subject to Multiculturalism“.🌷💐

Through this event, participating students not only broadened their horizons, but also deepened their understanding of global governance and its implications for the future.💫✨

GG Review｜Second Stop 2008

The 2nd Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG) co-initiated by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Fudan University was held in 2008, following the success in 2007.🌍

The YICGG2008 final themed as “Global Governance: Growth and Innovation 2020” began with a workshop in downtown Rome, in cooperation with the Italian Air Force. ✈✈

More than 100 youth scholars from 27 universities in over 20 countries and regions competed together. 📚📖

After a week of brainstorms and the final presentation at Politecnico of Turin, the Most Valuable Project Award went to a 4-person team representing Fudan University, who submitted a report on “East Asia Lifelong Learning Community 2020: Objective, Organization and Operation”.🥇

GG Review｜First Stop 2007

Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG) was first launched in 2007 by Fudan University, supported by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in China. The theme of 2007 is “Human Security in An Age of Globalization”🌍

The YICGG2007 final was held in Shanghai, China, focusing on the topic of human security in the era of globalization. 📍📍

More than 80 contestants from 27 teams representing 13 countries and regions competed together. 📚📖

After several days of creative competition, the world team from Italy, the United States, and China completed their report on ”How to combat global warming“ and won the Most Valuable Project Award.🥇
