🇨🇳 Available Chinese Government Scholarship (Bachelor) -- Silk road Program

INTRODUCTION:

Chinese Government Scholarship-Silk Road Program, a new scholarship program established by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People’s Republic of China in 2017. The program aims to support foreign students from countries along the Belt and Road to study for Bachelor’s degrees in China.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE:

Registration fee, tuition waiver, comprehensive medical insurance and free university dormitory. The university will provide a stipend (bachelor students: CNY 2,500 per month).

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country along the Belt and Road, other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health.
2. Academic and age requirements: Applicants should hold a high school graduation certificate or an equivalent diploma. Applicants must be under the age of 25 when applying for Bachelor programs.
3. Language requirements:
✅Chinese-taught programs: HSK 5, with a score of 180 and above.
✅One year of Chinese language training is provided to students if they receive the scholarship.
4. Not entitled to any other kind of scholarship.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:

1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (written in Chinese or English);
2. Notarized highest diploma;
Prospective diploma recipients must submit an official document issued by their current school to prove their current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.
4. Personal Resume
5. A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English); This should be a minimum of 800 words with a detailed description of the contents or field information to be completed during the study in China.
6. Two Academic Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English); Applicants must submit two recommendation letters signed by a Professor or an Associate Professor and their contact information.
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form
The physical examination must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Also the test result should be attached to the form especially the blood test result. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or an attached photograph of the applicant are considered invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
