The EduCare team welcomes everyone back after an extended Christmas break. We are now officially going back to work on preparing our concept for the regional finals of the Hult Prize competition (www.hultprize.org) in Shanghai on March 13th to 14th.
In order to develop our concept further and identify any flaws, our team will travel to a slum to further understand the environment and business climate. We do not have the starting capital to finance a short trip of 3 days to the worlds largest slum in Mumbai, India. This trip would help us in bringing our concept to the next level and posing a realistic threat at the finals. We have set up a PayPal link through which we are hoping to raise approximately 1,000 - 1,500 USD. The short-time window requires us to have this sum latest around the 23rd or 24th, in order to have time to apply for VISAs. Any and all donations will help, and if you are not willing or able to donate please take the time to share the link. We thank everyone ahead of time for any contributions monetary or otherwise. EduCare has made it to the UNNC Hult Prize Final! We are one of four teams that has the chance to win the prestigious university-internal competition and more importantly qualify for the Hult Prize Competition with regional finals taking place in March in Shanghai. In the finals on Friday morning, each team has to present their business model. We are super excited as well as nervous, and we will start working on our presentation tomorrow night!
