Our Story

Lefa started out as an alternative to traditional language teaching in China. In order to maintain high teaching standards, we offer small group classes up to 6 students rather than the 15 odd student classes you usually find over here. We also strive to establish a strong student-teacher bond, where teachers are fully responsible for their students' studies and where students' contributions and experience-sharing are not only encouraged but also account for a major part of our lessons' content. Our syllabus is mostly task-based and we're confident the topics we chose for our students will raise their interest while our dynamic lessons will keep them engaged. Finally, our programme is a combination of online classes and classroom lessons, coupled with a wide range of activities such as baking and football.

Although it's only been a year and a half since Lefa was established, we've grown quickly and we're now looking for part-time teachers. We pay attention to the well-being of our staff and fully understand how hard it can be to move to a different country, let alone a country where you don't speak the language. That's why we'll always make sure our staff receives as much information and guidance before moving here and get round-the-clock support an help while living here. We're looking for teachers with a wide repertoire of teaching skills, capable of handling different types of learners (from advanced teenagers to beginner adults students).
