Party Secretary Qiao Xuebin Visits Australia and New Zealand to Deepen International Cooperation 🌏
From May 24 to 30, Party Secretary Qiao Xuebin of NJUCM led a delegation to Australia and New Zealand to enhance global partnerships in education, research, and talent cultivation.
During the visit, the delegation
➡️visited Griffith University in Brisbane — one of NJUCM’s key strategic partners — where both sides signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation in postgraduate training, faculty exchange, and biopharmaceutical research. Secretary Qiao also hosted the 19th “Secretary Face-to-Face” forum with outstanding students studying in Australia.
➡️visited the University of Otago in Dunedin and jointly signed a tripartite MoU with Otago and the Australia Institute of Future Education (AIFE) to promote collaboration in smart health, traditional medicine, and cross-border education. The visit also included discussions on advancing the newly approved NJUCM–Otago Smart Health College.
➡️paid an official visit to the Chinese Consulate-General in Melbourne, where both sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation with Australian universities.
🚀This visit marks a key step in strengthening China–Australia–New Zealand educational cooperation, opening new avenues for international academic collaboration and talent development in traditional Chinese medicine.
