WELCOME TO PART 2: Floor Hops
Like I've said in part one - these are essentially vertical jumps that are a very good fundamental to learn before going into other types of jumping movements (plyometrics), such as Box Jumps.
Why do I call them "Floor Hops" instead of Vertical Jumps?
Because jumping movements tend to feel quite intimidating to most of our average gym-goers or those without any sports background/training experience.
Calling them "hops" takes away that daunting feeling for most, especially when described as similar to bunnies - makes the whole movement lot cuter and more approachable 🙂↕️
I've already mentioned in PART 1 (linked for reference!) why anyone should be doing jumping/hopping motions, so here is some more detailed guides as to how you may have a better grasp on your hopping form!
Watch me coach one of my clients who just started having Floor Hops/plyometrics added into her programs 🙂↕️ (thank you v much for consenting to our sessions being filmed 🫶)
Happy hopping ✨️
