The SETA 2025 (June 2025) at Macao calls for submission

Faculty of Business Administration and Center of Financial Econometrics affiliated with Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management at University of Macau are pleased to host the 19th International Symposium on Econometric Theory and Applications (SETA 2025) on 2-3 June 2025. On behalf of the Advisory Committee and the Program Committee, we are now inviting prospective contributors to submit their papers electronically through the Conference Maker (https://editorialexpress.com/cgi-bin/conference/conference.cgi?action=login&db_name=seta2025) from 20 December 2024. Submissions will be considered in a broad range of themes, to cover all aspects of econometrics.

Notification to Authors: March 14, 2025
Early registration: March 1, 2025 – May 1, 2025
Presenters’ Registration Deadline: May 1, 2025
Registration Deadline: May 23, 2025

Since 2005, the International Symposium on Econometric Theory and Applications (SETA) has become a leading academic event in Asia and Australasia, providing an international platform for researchers in econometrics to come together to present and discuss their ideas. The symposium aims to encourage econometric research, both theoretical and applied/empirical, and foster communication and collaboration among attendees.

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) is organizing the 2024 Inaugural Meeting of the Greater Bay Econometrics Study Group on Thursday 28 November and Friday 29 November 2024 at E22-G015.

Its aim is to provide a platform for researchers from universities in Macao, Hong Kong, Guangdong province and beyond to exchange new ideas and developments in various areas of econometrics. It will also provide networking opportunities for early-career researchers and research students.
