This is the first of all martial arts in China, with more than 1,500 years of history. Shaolin Kung Fu is coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, confidence, endurance... You train your body as well as your mind. For example, holding a horse stance position for 20 minutes requires greater mind power than physical strength. That's why all students work hard every day to build strong basics, m
ore so than learning lots of forms. This way, with the help of the masters, the students will discover their own potentials and learn the Kung Fu style that fits their abilities.
“Every time I came back home for the holidays, my mom cried when seeing the scratches on my hands and the bruises all over my body from the hard training. Many times she asked me to leave the temple and come back home. I always answered the same thing: No, Mom. I love Kung Fu.” - Master Shi Xin Bin
Master Shi Xin Bin spent 5 years training full time at Shaolin Temple. During that time he took place in the most important Kung Fu competitions and was awarded in most of them. After that he started his career as a Kung Fu instructor. First, he became Jiao Lian (coach) inside the temple, teaching kids mostly. But his outstanding abilities soon took him to teach advanced students and performance teams all over China. In 2003, the Kung Fu Committee in Deng Feng awarded him with the “outstanding Kung Fu coach” certificate in the Shaolin Temple. In 2009 master Shi De Yang brought Shi Xin Bin to his academy outside of the temple, where Shi Xin Bin began teaching foreign students. Many of them still come to China every year solely for the purpose of training with him. Now, Master Shi Xin Bin has opened his own academy in his home town, where you will find him every day doing what he does best: demonstrate his love for Kung Fu by practicing it and teaching it to others.
