Our school is located in Liuzhou, Guangxi province, which is also called Dragon City. Liuzhou is a famous historic and cultural city, and is also well known for its fantastic landscapes, with karsts surrounding the local area. The pace of life is quite slow here, it’s quite a lazy city, however, Liuzhou people love being friendly and enjoy a rich and playful night life. There are many cool bars and clubs here, some local and others more like home, with a large variety of beers and cocktails to choose from. The nearest city is Guilin, which also happens to be about 70km from Yangshuo, China’s most popular tourist destination. There are a lot of beautiful landscapes, countryside and outdoor activities in Yangshuo too which can be enjoyed with a couple of hours travel from Liuzhou. Plenty more information can be easily found online. We also run a charity which works alongside our English training school to provide less well off schools in small villages around Liuzhou with the chance to meet and learn from foreigners. So if you are planning on passing nearby and would like to experience some friendly local Chinese culture you are welcome to join us and volunteer here! In exchange for a few hours of voluntary and charity work, we will provide you a free room in Liuzhou, a guided tour around the cities most popular sites as well as a local bite to eat. All you have to do is to help with the schools and bring your biggest smile for the underprivileged students. We provide the local schools with a variety of lessons (English, dance, music, drawing, maths and anything else you might have as a hobby or interest) as well as organizing local donation activities to distribute (book, stationery, items for daily use etc.) If you want to earn some money and stay longer, please feel free to contact us too!
