Your English School

Your English School Teach or learn English at the best English training center in China. We teach all ages from 4 years old, all the way through to adults.

Your English School is a professionally run and managed English training centre based just outside of Hangzhou in Zhe Jiang province, China. Education is very important for the Chinese, and a lot of students - after they have finished their normal school day- head for extra curricular training centres such as Your English School (YES). In the state schools there is little chance for the students to practice and improve their spoken English (currently there are listening tests but no oral tests) and we provide oral English courses in small classes (4-10 students). However, we specialize mainly in the primary school market (age 8-13). In a typical 4 month semester we have 300 students that come twice a week to improve their overall English.

Here we're in the third week of an "education/leisure lockdown" with no word on when the green light will be granted for us to open again. Rumours from Hangzhou are that the non-profit education section maybe be closed until after the Asian Games - that's September!?!!? 😲😲😲

The government have temporarily closed us down due to the latest COVID "outbreak". The outbreak is a handful of confirmed cases in a city four hours away by car. Are they gonna keep us like this for a second week??

Teachers are facilitators. Give the students some questions to practice along with answers, sit back and watch the students improve (while taking a video).

🤩🤩 Don't....run.....in.....the.....school..... Can't fault these first graders combining sign language with English, even if they're a little slow in delivery. 🤩🤩

"Don't eat or drink in class." These first grade students in their second semester at our language centre are a little slow, if deliberate, with their sign language combined with new English.✊✊
