How to choose a dehumidifier?
It is difficult for many people to choose a suitable dehumidifier, because they are not familiar with dehumidifier. So today I would like to teach you how to choose dehumidifier.
(1)Choose dehumidifier according to area of your room.
The dehumidifier will work at high strength if the dehumidifying capacity is too weak. It will shorten the lifetime. On the contrary, the dehumidifier will waste electricity if the dehumidifying capacity too strong.
(2)According to climate
Experts suggested that choose dehumidifier according to humidity and space of the room. The humidity of some places are very high(even more than 80%). People live in such place should choose dehumidifier with strong capacity.
(3)Mention the power consumption
Generally, the power consumption increases with the dehumidifying capacity. One thing need to be paid attention to, that is there are two types of dehumidifier. One is traditional compression type dehumidifier, power consumption of which is lower. Another is rotary type dehumidifier. The power consumption of this one is higher comparatively speaking.
For example, a compression type dehumidifier with capacity of 12 L/DAY, the power consumption is about 100 W-250 W per hour. a rotary type dehumidifier with same capacity, the power consumption is about 300 W-500 W per hour.
(4)Mention noises.
When working, dehumidifier will make some noise more or less. The noise is from compressor. So in order to control the noises at lowest, you should choose the dehumidifier with famous brand compressor. Although the price of famous brand compressor is expensive, the performance is better, the noise is small and the lifetime is long.
(5)Do not be confused by additional functions
Recent years, the dehumidifier with air purifying function is very popular. But compared with air purifier, air purifying function this kind of dehumidifier can not reach the professional level. Practicability is more important than additional functions.
