In the newly announced results of the 4th National Award for Excellence in Innovation, seven ZJU faculty members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to science and technology. Among them, one received the Excellence in Innovation Medal, while six received the Excellence in Innovation Certificate.

Music knows no boundaries. 🎤✨

The final of ZJU’s 23rd Campus Top Ten Singers Competition lit up the Zijingang Campus Theater on May 27. After three rounds of competition, contestants took the stage with guest performers and solo acts, showcasing their talent, passion, and individuality.

Starting in tenth place after the first round, SHENG Shijie steadily climbed the rankings and ultimately claimed the championship with a standout performance. GONG Kejia and MAO Yihan won second and third place.

As the evening drew to a close, hundreds of students joined together in singing the ZJU anthem—a fitting finale to a night filled with music, friendship, and campus spirit. 🎶🎶

Proud news from the global table tennis stage. 🏓✨

LIU Shiwen, an Olympic table tennis champion and a doctoral student of the Class of 2024 at the College of Education, Zhejiang University, has been re-elected as the co-chair of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Athletes' Commission. She will continue to represent athletes’ voices on the international stage and contribute to the future development of the sport.

On May 22, 2026, ZJU officially launched the Global University Flag Relay for its 130th Anniversary.

Connecting 155 local alumni associations worldwide, the relay turns the university flag into a symbol of connection among across the globe.

From this moment on, the flag departs from ZJU and begins its journey across continents—carrying memories, aspirations, and heartfelt wishes from the global ZJU community for our upcoming 130th anniversary. 💙
