After the challenging and eventful times we have all been experiencing, it is such an exciting week at Wellington College Hangzhou as our staff induction training has commenced! New teaching and supporting staff have been taking part in various workshops, presentations, and information sessions since 10th August to ensure everyone is fully prepared for the new academic year. It is a delight to see our new staff actively engaged in the ongoing induction process. Supported by Wellington College China and our school Senior Leadership Team at Wellington College Hangzhou, we are collaborating and all looking forward to welcoming our pupils for the start of term on 26th August! @ Wellington College International Hangzhou

Even though it was our pupils’ first time showcasing their art and writing skills and public and competing with pupils from a total of 82 international schools, bilingual schools, international high schools, bilingual kindergartens and local schools, they still stood out. ‘Eco Future,’ the 2019-20 Art & Writing competition organised by Shanghai Family and Parents & Kids, featured 1,000 paintings, over 100 letters, and a collection of more than 100 hundred videos, handicrafts, and sculptures, and several of our pupils received recognition for their outstanding work. Well done Wellingtonians and congratulations to all the winners! Here is a selection of the winning artworks.
