Recently, KHASMUTDINOVA MILANA, an international student from 🇰🇿Kazakhstan, joined China News Network as a guest anchor and explored the nightlife of Xindeng Town in Fuyang, Hangzhou. 🌙

From experiencing the charm of Yue Opera to tasting local delicacies at an ancient-town market, she immersed herself in the traditions, flavors, and lively atmosphere of this historic town after dark.

On Aug 22, the 17th West Lake Public Relations Roundtable opened in Hangzhou, bringing together over 100 guests to discuss public relations, cross-cultural communication, and global governance in the age of AI. 🗣️🌐

Two international students, 🇳🇬Nigerian master’s student Adesola Prince Adeyemi and 🇲🇦Moroccan master’s student El Khalidy Mohamed Amine, participated in the event.

As a youth guest at the China-International Youth Roundtable, Prince shared his perspectives on cross-cultural communication and youth participation in global governance, drawing on his experiences in China and observations of China-Africa youth exchanges.

He emphasized the importance of understanding one’s own cultural roots while embracing the world, and highlighted AI and digital technology as bridges for cross-border collaboration. 🤝

Through dialogue and exchange at the roundtable, international students added new voices to the conversation on global understanding and cooperation.

Recently, 25 🇧🇪 students and teachers visited as part of the 2026 Chinese Bridge group program. 🌍

During their nearly two-week journey in Shanghai and Zhejiang, they learned Chinese, experienced traditional culture, and explored contemporary China. 📚

At ZJUT, Pascal Buffin, Consul General of Belgium in Shanghai, joined the students for an ink-and-wash bamboo painting experience at He Shuifa Art Museum.

From classrooms to cultural experiences, this summer journey brought young people from China and Belgium closer through learning, exchange, and friendship. 🌟
