From February 2 to 5, the ZIBS Master of China Studies (MCS) team, together with the Zhejiang University China Studies Center, visited Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad de Salamanca.
The visit focused on deepening collaboration in student recruitment, summer programs, joint training initiatives, and broader academic exchange. Through open dialogue and shared vision, both sides explored new pathways to connect students with global perspectives on China studies.

From Idea to Market: Inside the Yiwu Start-up Practice Trip

Nearly 50 students recently embarked on an immersive journey to Yiwu — the “World Capital of Small Commodities” — for the Start-up Practice · Yiwu Trip.

Centered around the theme “From Creative Validation to Market Connection,” the program brought entrepreneurial ideas into real market settings. From testing concepts to understanding supply chains, students experienced how innovation connects with global commerce in one of the world’s most dynamic trade hubs. 🌍

This initiative was made possible through the continued support of Zhejiang Zhongnan Group, whose partnership helps empower young entrepreneurs to move from ideas to action — and from the classroom to the world.

ZIBS News | ZIBS Joins ZJU Delegation Visit to Polimi and UniTo 🌍

From January 22 to 23, BEN Shenglin, Dean of ZIBS, joined a delegation led by MA Yanming, President of , on visits to the and 🇮🇹.

At UniTo, President MA Yanming met with Cristina Prandi, Rector of the University of Turin, for in-depth discussions on bilateral cooperation outcomes, talent cultivation, and institutional development 🤝.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the partnership between Zhejiang University and UniTo in the China Studies program 🎓. BEN Shenglin noted that UniTo, as a key partner of ZIBS, has built a solid foundation of cooperation through the Master of China Studies (MCS) program and short-term exchange and training initiatives, including the China Management and Business Program (CMBP), and expressed expectations for further deepening bilateral collaboration.

At Polimi, the delegation met with Donatella Sciuto, Rector of Politecnico di Milano, to discuss talent development, innovation and entrepreneurship, and people-to-people exchanges 💡. As the only Asian member of the International Advisory Board of the , BEN Shenglin reviewed the multi-year, diversified cooperation between ZIBS and Polimi. Building on platforms such as the ZIBS Global Corporate Consulting Project (GCCP) and the ZIBS Global Deans’ Forum, both sides will further expand faculty and student exchanges and joint research, while promoting the translation of cooperation outcomes into practical impact 🚀.

The visit further consolidated cooperation between ZIBS, UniTo, and Polimi, paving the way for deeper and more substantive international higher education collaboration ahead 🌐.
