A question for designers:
Why spend months designing the umbrella...
..and only 5 minutes designing the sleeve?
The sleeve is often the part customers see most.
It's carried, stored, photographed, gifted, and used every day.
That's why more brands are turning umbrella sleeves into a true branding opportunity.
Small sleeve.
Big brand impact.
Which one is your favorite?

Most umbrellas are designed to keep people dry.
But what about the backpack?
A few months ago, I was watching students and office workers walking in the rain.
Their heads were dry.
Their clothes were mostly dry.
But almost every backpack was soaking wet.
That got me thinking:
Why are we protecting everything except the thing people carry on their backs?
So we developed a Backpack Umbrella.
✅ Extended rear canopy to provide extra coverage for backpacks
✅ Folds down to the same compact size as a regular folding umbrella
✅ 360° reflective strip around the canopy for better visibility at night
✅ Black UV coating for sun protection
Simple idea. Real problem solved.
Sometimes innovation isn't about adding more features.
It's about noticing the small frustrations people face every day and designing a better solution.
Would you use an umbrella like this for your daily commute?

The news changes every day.
One day it's tariffs.
The next day it's new regulations.
Then it's rising costs or customs inspections.
To be honest, I don't spend too much time worrying about things I can't control.
This morning, when I walked into our factory, our sewing workers were already busy making umbrellas.
The weather outside was over 35°C.
Inside the workshop, everyone was focused on finishing customers' orders.
That reminded me of something:
No matter how the world changes, businesses still need reliable products and reliable partners.
For more than 30 years, that's what we've tried to be.
We don't control government policies.
We don't control exchange rates.
But we can control how we treat our customers, how we make our products, and how seriously we take quality.
Some customers have been working with us for 10, 15, even 20 years.
I think that's because business is actually quite simple:
Do what you say.
Solve problems when they happen.
Keep improving.
And take care of the people who trust you.
Anyway, enough about trade news.
We've got umbrellas to make. ☂️
Have a great day, wherever you are in the world.

This doesn’t look like a “promo umbrella.”
And that’s exactly the point.
Take a closer look 👇
A designer-style piece from Baidi Modernism—
where pattern, color, and subtle branding do all the talking.
No oversized logos.
No “cheap giveaway” feel.
Just something people actually want to carry.
And here’s the shift we’re seeing with our clients:
👉 They’re moving away from disposable merch
👉 Toward products that represent their brand taste
Because let’s be honest—
If your product ends up forgotten in a drawer…
it’s not marketing. It’s waste.
I’m not sure if this is what you’re exploring, but…
What if your next umbrella looked like this—
but fully customized to your brand?
