读书，发明本心
一朋友问王阳明：“读书不记得如何？”
王阳明回答说：“只要晓得，如何要记得？要晓得已是落第二义了，只要明得自家本体。若徒要记得，便不晓得；若徒要晓得，便明不得自家的本体。”
王阳明说“晓得”是第一义，“记得”的第二义，二者有境界高下之分。因为记得只是你记住了书中的话，晓得则是你从自心中发现了书中的那些道理，这就是读书以发明本心。王阳明的回答是：“只要理解了就行，为什么非要记住？其实，理解已是次要的了，重要的是使自己的心的本体光明。如果只是求记住，就不能理解；如果只是求理解，就不能使自心的本体光明了。”
Read from the heart
A friend asked Wang Yangming: "I don't remember what i read?how do i?”Wang Yangming answered, "as long as you know, why do you remember?Know already second righteousness,as long as you know your ontology. If you just remember, you don't know,If you want to know, you can not see your ontology"Wang Yangming said that "knowing" is the first essence, and the second essentials of remembering,the two realms are different.Because remember mean you just remembered the words in the book,You know it is found the truth in the book from the heart, which is reading from the heart.Wang Yangming's answer was, "as long as you understand, why do you have to remember?"In fact, understanding is secondary, and the important thing is to make your heart bright.If you just ask for remember, you can't understand it,If we only ask for understanding, we can not make the heart of the body light."

圣人之心如明镜，只是一个明，则随感而应，无物不照。人生就是一道变幻莫测的波浪线，谁都不知道下一步会走向哪里，会发生什么，所以人生不可能有完美的规划，如果一定要说有，也就是时刻光明自己的良知。
The heart of a saint is like a mirror，Just a bright, then the impressions should be, no matter no photos.Life is a changeable wave line. No one knows where it will go next and what will happen.Therefore, life can not be a perfect plan, if you must say, that is, always keep your conscience.

这和尚终日口巴巴说甚么！终日眼睁睁看甚么！ ——顺应自己的本性，保持自己的良知。
故事背景：
王阳明在一座寺庙中看到一个枯坐的和尚，据说已不视不言静坐三年。王阳明笑了笑，就绕着和尚走了几圈，像是道士捉鬼前的作法。最后他在和尚面前站定，看准了和尚，冷不防地大喝一声：“这和尚终日口巴巴说甚么！终日眼睁睁看甚么！”不知是王阳明的禅机触动了和尚，还是王阳明的大嗓门惊动了和尚。总之，和尚惊慌地睁开眼，“啊呀”一声。
王阳明盯紧他，问：“家里还有何人？”和尚答：“还有老母。”王阳明再问：“想念她吗？”和尚不语。一片寂静，静的能听到和尚头上的汗水流淌的声音。最后，和尚打破了这一死寂，用一种愧疚的语气回答：“怎能不想念啊！”王阳明露出满意的神色，向和尚轻轻地摆手说：“去吧，回家去照顾你的母亲吧。”第二天，和尚离开寺庙，重回人间。
这个打坐的和尚明明不言不视已经三年，王阳明为什么偏偏问他口巴巴说什么、眼睁睁看什么？因为他看到了和尚表面不说、不看，心里却终日在说、在看。说和看的，正是绝思绝欲与人的天然良知之间的冲突。
王阳明其实就跟他说了一句话：顺应自己的本性，顺从自己的良知。绝不是在别处再求一个凌驾于人心万物的道。那也不是道，是妄。真心诚意想做王阳明心学的信徒，好好生活，好好做人，听到自己内心善的声音，听从自己内心的良知召唤，也就够了。
Wang Yangming's conte No.3
What did the monk say and looking at all day long ?----Follow your heart and keep your conscience.
Story background：Wang Yangming saw a monk sitting in a temple,it is said that the monk has not eaten or drank for there years.Wang Yangming smiled and walked several times around the monk,just like a Taoist priest.At last he stood in front of the monk, saw the monk, suddenly a shout:”What did the monk say and looking at all day long ?” whether Wang Yangming’s Buddhist allegorical word or gesture touched the monk or Wang Yangming’s the loud noise alerted him. In a word, the monk opened his eyes in alarm. "Oh!".
Wang Yangming watched him, asked: "is there anyone home?"The monk replied: "as well as mother.""Do you miss her?" Wang Yangming asked again The monk said nothing.A quiet that can hear the voice of the monk’s forehead sweat flowing.Finally, the monk broke the silence, and in a guilty tone, said, "how can i not miss ?"Wang Yangming showed a satisfied look and waved gently to the monk. "Go, go home and take care of your mother,"he said.On the second day, the monk left the temple and returned to hometown.
The monk, who had evidently not spoken for three years, why did Wang Yangming asked what he had said and looked all day long?Because he saw the monk face not say, don't see, but in the heart all day long say and see.It is the conflict between the natural desire and the natural conscience of human beings.
Wang Yangming actually said a word to him,Follow your heart and keep your conscience.Never seek another place beyond the heart of all things. That's not the way, it's absurd.If you want to be a disciple of Wang Yangming's theory of mind, to live well, to be a good man, to hear his own inner good voice, and to listen to his own inner calling, that is enough.

王阳明小故事2：
我以落第动心为耻。——越是艰难处，越是修心时。
故事背景：
1496年，王阳明在会试中再度名落孙山。有人在发榜现场未见到自己的名字而嚎啕大哭，王阳明却无动于衷。大家以为他是伤心过度，于是都来安慰他。
王阳明脸上略过一丝沧桑的笑，说：“你们都以落第为耻，我却以落第动心为耻。”
人生中会遇到很多的艰难困苦，越是在这种时候越能体现人的心性修养。寻常人往往慌乱悲戚，唯有修养深厚者能做到泰然处之。文天祥说：时穷节乃现。
如何才能拥有这种自觉和修养呢？王阳明还有一句话，道出了所有：人须在事上磨，方能立得住；方能静亦定，动亦定。艰难困苦，正是对心性的最好磨砺。

I am Ashamed of Grieved for the Poor Scholars.——The harder it is, the more cultivate one's mind.
Story background:In 1496, Wang Yangming failed again in the exam.Someone at the scene did not see his own name and crying,Wang Yangming was unmoved.He was thought to be heartbroken,Everyone came to comfort him.Wang Yangming's face missed a trace of vicissitudes of laughter and said,”you are all shame on the failure of the exam,I am ashamed of grieved for the Poor Scholars.”
Life will encounter many difficulties and hardships, in this time, can better reflect the people's moral cultivation.Ordinary people are often flustered and sad,Only those who are well cultivated can take the rough with the smooth.Wen Tianxiang said, "Poverty is the present ."How can we have this kind of consciousness and cultivation?Wang Yangming had another word and said it all:A man must grind in something before he can stand it.Hardship is the best temper of the mind.
